The #Jets are scheduled to interview Ron Rivera for their head coaching job this week, per sources.

In 13 seasons with Carolina and Washington, Rivera made the playoffs five times, including an appearance in Super Bowl 50. The first of many HC interviews to come in NYJ’s search.

Hopefully Ron is smart enough to avoid that circus, holy shit what a mess ownership is there. This article is truly mind blowing.

Ryan has been vocal about wanting the job, you could do a lot worse. At least he knows what he's walking into. The Jets simply aren't going to attract top notch coaches with that ownership situation.

It was amazing. Really amazing. They can't win accept for when it's stupid of them to do so. Lock should have been benched for playing too well lol. Fake injury, get in there DeVito.

Yesterday was an excellent day all around.

They could do a lot worse than Rex Ryan lol. If Ryan can figure out how to hire a competent offensive coordinator he'd have a good staff. Plus he's already worked in that environment before. Johnson is the new Snyder, he's not gonna attract the cream of the coaching crop.

Edit: +1 to what Matty said.

What a bad ass Week 18 game to determine NFC No. 1 seed. I'm assuming the Lions win tonight. 2 14-2 teams battling it out. Essentially playing a playoff game to avoid having to play a playoff game. That should be a fun one.

David Tepper wants you to hold onto a cold one for him.

Actually I can imagine them toasting each other in a bar thinking how great they are.

Yeah I can't wait, what an epic showdown with so much on the line. I think the Vikings are peaking while the Lions are pretty beat up. Still should be a good battle.

Still boggles my mind that Sam Darnold is leading a 14 win Vikings team. What a strange timeline we live in.

Vikings have an interesting offseason ahead. It seems like it's either re-sign Darnold and trade McCarthy or let Darnold walk and start McCarthy.

McCarthy isn't going to want to sit on the bench for years. Darnold will be way too expensive to sit.

probably really doesn't have choice; i wouldn't get rid of him; this could be a flash in the pan season for Sam

It would be a weird situation for Darnold too. To have the team keep a 1st round pick behind you. See Atlanta Falcons.

I don't know how you move on from Darnold at this point.

Green Bay did it twice with Rodgers sitting behind Favre and Love behind Rodgers. It's not a bad spot to be in. McCarthy is still an unknown.
