I agree with SC. The defensive linemen should be plugging up the holes to keep blockers off our LBs.

I thought the same thing. What is a good number of sacks for a team in a given year?

Re: 2005 Sacks Leader?

52 players should have 52 sacs unless there is something wrong.

I guess no one noticed that normally I TRY to have perfect grammar and left out the "K" in sacks. Oh well, and honestly I don't know a normal sack amount, but I just think that mooby was a little optimistic. Ain't nothin' wrong with that, but I just don't see it happening.

I think Griffin will lead in tackles for a loss. Gotta go with a DB on sacks...Springs.

Re: 2005 Sacks Leader?

Above 40 sacks is generally a pretty good season

Re: 2005 Sacks Leader?

The new NFL Films clip is up on redskins.com.

A pretty good one, even though I'm sad to see the Skins beat the Bears by only 3.

i love that game, we broke a 4 game losing streak and portis got something like 171 yards. it was a fun game so was the detriot and the giants (second ofcourse).... seriously i am now depressed because that made me think of the first giant's game

Re: 2005 Sacks Leader?

We should have KILLED the Bears based on stats alone.

Re: 2005 Sacks Leader?

i don't know if i can post subcribtion services on this sight but Espn insider just put out its top players for fantasy football and we got screwed on both sides of the ball, our qbs don't break top 25 our wrs not one till well after 30 and another didn't break top50, our defense/Special teams barely in top half. and our top RB doesn't hit in top 10
i guess it is to be expected but the defense and RB is all that makes me mad. otherwise cooley got some credit but i still think and know he deserves more

Gotta vote for Daniels. Having all the guys blitzing will have to make his job easier! 10+

Re: 2005 Sacks Leader?

I like Marcus Washington for this category. I think offenses are going to overplan so to speak for Lavar Arrington, when he returns. I think this will allow Marcus Washington to be much more effective during pass rushes. So I'll go with him.
