Re: Ramsey, Brunell - Arms race

I have to admit I like what saw from the offense in the game against Cincy. As others posted we moved the ball well and this was without Chris Cooley and Clinton Portis. The INTs are cause for some concern, but if there is a 'good' time to make a mistake it is now in the preseason. What impressed me most was David Patten, he had like 3 catches for over 100 yds.

I was talking to my cousin up in Maine who is a big Patriots fan and nothing but good things to say about Patten, his only caution was that he tends to get hurt and needs to be used wisely when going over the middle. I remember back when #84 was Gary Clark...so I am not too worried about a 'small' receiver going over the middle. I think we as fans we just need to sit back and fasten our seatbelts...especially once Portis is out there...for I think this team is going to surprise us.

It scares Joe Gibbs too......that's one thing he preaches is about making good decisions, and throwing the ball out of bounds or taking a sack if your in trouble......If these types of mistakes continue then Patrick he could get the hook.........

I think another reason Brunell has played well, he's now healthy........

i think us Skins fans are so desperate and paranoid right now, that we're too easily frazzled over any little negative thing.

Ramsey is obviously practicing "touch", everybody already knows he can drill it. the truth (and our season) lies somewhere in between, so let's hope he gets it down.
I think what we all want is consistency. There seems to be only the 31-7 win over the Giants where Ramsey looked like a QB capable of leading this team. Consistency over mediocry.
