Yeah he may think 6% is low if he dont like it he can get his own designer or sell his own shirts like they do in racing. I dont think I have ever heard of anyone else compalin about making 6%. Look at Farve number how many of those shirts have you seen. I dont think he is complaining just smiling all the way to the bank each month. Of course you know it is his brillant agent thinking he can always get more. Well I wonder how much money he has lost by not taking the 6% all of these years. I do believe that the 6% is a number decided by the players union. So does that mean he is defying the union?

I'm really torn on this, on one hand I love LaVar as a player, on the other hand this junk is really getting annoying and it's slowly tarnishing my opinion of him.
First he's missing $6.5M and now he didn't agree to the NFLPA licensing agreement, I mean c'mon, did he or his agent even read the damn contract??!! I can't feel sorry for him in either situation. And I really can't believe it's the world against LaVar like he wants us to think. I was pumped to buy a LaVar jersey this offseason, now I'm definitely thinking twice about it. As for him not being in video games, that's not really a big deal, change his name to Arrington and change his # to 56 and you're good to go. |

If I was in the FO, I'd be chirping to every media type I know that this FURTHER proves that L.A. nor his agent actually read the contract before it was submitted to the league.. What more proof is needed? That being said, I think once the pads go on all of this bs will be forgotten.

Someone just send a hitman out for the Postons and so many problems will go away.

I refuse to listen to this crap. Anything that dosent involve LaVar's play is just a Moo point to me. He just has to concentrate on football and not $$.

Gibbs wants real Redskins. If Lavar doesnt have his Jersey out there to read from, you think he can spell redskins. Or would he just say "REDSKINS, ok umm, M O N E Y, REDSKINS"

What was lavar's wonderlink score? I guess he hasen't figured out that he will never be able to recoup the money he's lost over the last 4 year's by not agreeing, and yes he just made us look much more innocent in this contract dispute, I think we can finally see why lavar is the most overated player in the NFL, he's been getting by on personality not substance.

Sheesh. What will it take to convince LaVar to fire the Postons? Although I agree with memphis' assessment that LaVar definitely isn't overated as a player, I'm starting to think that a really good case could be made for the Postons being *way overated* as agents.

LaVar is more proof that kids staying in college for football means nothing as to their future as far as education goes! |

Ive met Lavar a few times, he was really nice and didnt seem stupid. His stupid for having the Postons, and may also love money, but when it coems to football intelligence hes a great natural instict player. He has played with a different d-coach each year. Had he just played under one he may have been the best. Dont discount Lavar, he is our leader on defense. Smoot runs his mouth (in a good way, not discounting him) but lavar makes the plays.

does anyone know why superstars would sign with the postons at all? seems to be way to much drama with these guys in the first place... are they good negotiators? or are their clients duped into believing what they tell them?
