To me white jerseys mean home games....
White for home, burgundy for away games. But part of me would like to at see burgundy and burgundy at least once. |

True that. F@#$ new unis. The only reason other teams wear "retro" uniforms is to envoke their glory days. We are already wearing those uniforms. When we wear those retro unis with the spear, (which do look cool) we are envoking the days when the redskins pretty much sucked.

I really like the retros, but I think with Gibbs back they will stick with the current ones...the same uniforms they had when he won 3 Superbowls here before. A trend the past few years with some teams has been to darken the colors though (Rams, Eagles, etc), so it could be cool to keep the same uniform, but darken the burgundy to make it closer to the retro color.
For the 75th anniversary, I could see them doing something else retro though... |

Leather Helmets like Sammy Baugh?
That would be AWESOME! How about the gold ones from the 1950's with no face mask? Now...THAT'S RETRO! lol peace

Unis are fine. If going to change them change the sleves. Put the decal on the side of the sleves. Just dont wear the black pants like back in the early 80s.
I am still waiting for our qb to wear a 1 bar face mask.

I really liked the all-white unis, maybe an all burgandy uni would be different just not sure how cool it'd look. I'll have to check it out on Madden. No new unis though, but we could break out the burgandy jerseys/gold pants for division games. I hate the burgandy/white pants look, always have.

I say NO on new uniforms. The Skins have (by far) the best uniforms in the league. If there is a change, I really liked the all white for a change of pace. If you want to see what all burgandy looks like check out the Texas Tech's uniforms -- yuck. The Redskins would look more like an Arena Football team. We dont want that...

I agree with the sleeve comment. We could use a little extra piece of flare their. Thats part of why the retros were cool, the sleeves were elastic and had a logo on them.

By the way, the new uniforms will have gold jerseys with white letters and maroon trousers... that way EVERYONE will have to buy new ones. They are coming out in May. lol |

What about going all gold for a game, that might give us an advantage if the other team loses us in the sun. Might be hard to throw but hey, hand the ball to CP.
