Not to get ahead of ourselves, but just fantasize for a minute, and envision the following:
The Chiefs beat the Giants on Saturday night. Then, it's late in the fourth quarter at FedEx on Sunday, the Skins have the game in hand, and the stadium has been rocking all afternoon. It begins to dawn on everyone that if the Redskins win next week against the Giants, they'll be in first place in the NFC East, and would control their own destiny against Philly for winning the division. All of a sudden the chant starts to rise through the stadium: "We Want New York! We Want New York!" ... how great would that be?! |

I'm going to the game with my father - on his 70th Birthday. If possible, he's a bigger Skins fan than I am. Nothing would please us more than a win - and I'll take it any way I can get it. Go Skins!

Man i hope we do go completely nuts. The thing is I know I will. THe first game I went to was the bears game and the fans were great around me, an older man and i kept on giving eachother hi fives and no one was in their seats and everyone was going crazy.
During the Chargers game everytime i stood up i felt i was blocking somebody's view, i figured if i stood up they would stand up to and the people behind them and so on but NOONE stood up. I had natural reactions of jumping out of my seat and everytime I felt like i was not letting the people behind us see. Then the people ahead of me had hunkered down with a blanket and were basically falling asleep and i didn't hear either of them say a word the entire game and they gave me bad faces every time i went overboard with swinging my jersey around my head. I was still extremely loud but it really sucked that I couldn't feel comfortable doing it. The stadium was not close to being full either I hope that the people around me are energetic. Someone is giving me tickets and I don't know where my seats are yet and won't know till sunday morning. I will find someone to trade with if they end up being club seats because i would rather be up top with people who actually get up for the game but in the chargers game the people up top were silient. I hope the people that actually paid shit loads for this game are real fans and go crazy. |

You know why I think we'll win? Cause we want it WAY WAY WAY more than they do. I mean, I'm not at their practice, and I dotn know their fans, but I just have this sense the the Redskins, players, coaches and fans want this game more than anything else. I really really feel that way.
