Re: Shaun Alexander: stat hog?
You make some good points.Honestly I dont really care, but he has had a great season and deserves to have the chance to get the record.

Re: Shaun Alexander: stat hog?
what about the scenario of mr alexander getting hurt trying to get a stupid record when the hawks realistically have a shot at the super bowl?think they could go all the way playing a back up running back?their back up is so good i dont know who it is

Re: Shaun Alexander: stat hog?
i think if you have a chance to get in the record books why not. lets just say he never gets a ring he can sure say he lead the league in rushing and in touchdowns that year. Damn let the guy have his day/year in the spotlight. If it was portis you would be put him in put him in. I mean if you wanna talk about stat hog look at rice. he stayed 20 years in the nfl and you can say he stayed to put his stats out of reach.

Re: Shaun Alexander: stat hog?
It's not a huge, huge deal, but Alexander would have looked like a better man for giving his main blocker Mack Strong a chance to score a TD.
