With that said, I'm not sure what is to be gained by drafting Jimmy Clausen. Could we win with him? I think we could. Could we win because of him? Hasn't worked for anyone in the past.

We can't answer that question for sure until draft day. But it seems unlikely that Detroit or Tampa will take a QB. Therefore either Clausen or Bradford (and maybe both) will be available at #4.

I am hoping that Suh is still there at #4 because he is one player that teams would be willing to trade up for.

If Suh is still available, what we need to do is use the threat of drafting him to trade the spot for multiple, good picks.

Yes. Because an inexperience rookie QB behind a bad offensive line is a bad combination. The Redskins need to worry about the foundation of this team. Campbell has actually played pretty decent when he's had time to throw the ball.

Re: Do You Want Jason Campbell Back in 2010?
You think he played well the first 4 or 5 games of the season when he was one of the least sacked QBs in the league? Against the Chefs? That said, I do like how he played down the stretch, but I'm tired of everyone blaming the line for EVERYTHING. There are other issues. He hasn't been all that consistent when the line has been in tact and playing well.

Re: Do You Want Jason Campbell Back in 2010?
From the hint Bruce Allen dropped, I wouldn't be one bit surprised to see JC on our roster next year (from Boswell's article):
"He's got a lot of starts (51) and seen a lot of looks, and he hasn't played his best football yet." Since Campbell, playing behind an awful line, finished 15th in the NFL in passer rating, 14th in yards and 18th in touchdown passes, that's at least a semi-hug from the new GM. If Allen thinks Campbell's best football is ahead of him and he's already rated in front of half the starters in the NFL, how much better can you do? That doesn't sound like a GM who is ready to dump his QB.

Re: Do You Want Jason Campbell Back in 2010?
He was in the bottom third of the league in sacks AFTER week 5 AND played some of the worst Defenses in the league... maybe of all time. He was hardly running for his life against the likes of the Rams, Chiefs and Lions. He's not totally blameless and doesn't always need people making excuses for him. I'm in the keep him camp, but hold him as accountable as anyone for the crappy start of the season. That said, he showed a lot in the second half and should be brought back. IMO.

Re: Do You Want Jason Campbell Back in 2010?
I'm indifferent for the most part. Shanahan will likely inflate his stats again due to a combination of coaching and how Shanahan runs the WCO, but I doubt his accuracy problems are realistically fixable.
