Re: 2011 NFL Draft
Do you think he could be better or equal to what is coming out of college with the exception of Luck?

Actually someone made a good comment below that article. They said why would CAR say anything different and devalue that pick. Of course they are going to say that they might get someone desperate enough to give them the farm.

What's scary is the team w/the most ammo to do it is New England. They could package a no. of 1st day picks & draft Luck to groom him to replace Brady. That kind of trade would be out of character for NE, but finding a replacement for Brady wouldn't be. |

Re: 2011 NFL Draft
Clausen isn't accurate and doesn't have a big arm.. NO he's not better than Mallett or maybe even Gabbert

Re: 2011 NFL Draft
I'm a firm believer that a talent like that doesn't come around too often and would pull a Ditka. Build the Vinny way for 2 seasons through FA. The tough part is the lockout next year screwing up FA.

Re: 2011 NFL Draft
tHE Skins don't have enough ammo to move up 9 spots.. We only have a few star players as is, and no draft picks.. We might as well forget the possibility of Luck

He had an awful year, doesn't see the field very well and is not that accurate. Basically you couldn't ask for a bigger risk translating to the NFL game and there isn't a single GM that will consider him in the top ten. |

Re: 2011 NFL Draft
Just a thought:
When has LUCK ever been the Redskins' thing? Never, at least not since '65 when I started watching them. So forget it, LUCK is not coming to town. No way. Unfortunately. |

Re: 2011 NFL Draft
Looks good, had at least 3 passes dropped by the WR's. He's tall and slender (will need more muscle in the pro's) he reminds me of a young Todd Collins.

Re: 2011 NFL Draft
His footwork is underrated, hes not very mobile but he can move around in the pocket pretty well, big arm I like him as a QB.. Kinda Flacco like also
