Re: NFL News Offseason Style
Lately it seems like NEs FA acquisitions have not panned out. Only Carter did that I remember.

Re: NFL News Offseason Style
Idk, for me it's better to be Tebow coverage than Haynesworth pouting, McNabb benching, or any other myriad of coverage we used to get before RG3. There will always be a hot story in the NFL, right now it just happens to be Tebow. Of course I'm not nearly as upset by this because I'm not really paying too much attention to NFL coverage right now since it's the slow time of year.

Re: NFL News Offseason Style
So about three months ago? I "predicted", more like suggested, New England would be the best fit for Tebow. I'd be shocked if Belichick didn't use Tebow as an H-back or in similar goal line and short yardage situations ala Mike Vrabel. The guy is a better football player than quarterback. No question about that.
And yes, the Tebow coverage remains over the top for reasons I will never completely understand. |

And that is the problem, why? Why him? What is so damn special about him? Nothing.

I didnt know if it was for contempt or the violation. Regardless, the judge's hands werent tied to 30 days, which, imo was excessive for what amounted to disrepectful show of exurberance.

Re: NFL News Offseason Style
We're seriously talking about Thrash and Connell?
Thrash was solid, nothing spectacular. His best year was about 800 yards, yawn. Connell had one good year and was out of the league 2 years later. |

I think I am gonna take a break from the Path for a while. Only so many brain cells can be killed before I can no longer function as a father to my daughters.

Re: NFL News Offseason Style
I can speak for myself. All i said was that they were pretty good. Which they were. All the jazz came from elsewhere. His best year was with the Eagles with a different QB by the way. Jason Campbell yawn was the QB when he was here. Hard to judge our WRs then. I was just saying they were pretty good WR and stand by it.

You must have some low standards my friend. Thrash was never more than a decent #3 option. Connell was a good #2 for one year, hardly enough of a resume to determine if he was actually "pretty good" as you put it, or if he simply benefited from playing in a high powered offense with plenty of other weapons occupying defenses. |

He wouldn't have started for two pro football teams and catch 22 touchdowns if he wasn't pretty good. The stats speak for themselves. Everyone has an opinion. He did as well as anyone else has except Santana Moss and Chris Cooley. So yea he was good in my opinion. Those aren't low standards unless you are comparing to Art Monk or Gary Clark. Then it would be. Since you call me friend and all yea we can be friends. I can be quite friendly to deserving folk. Hope all is well. Go Hogs!! |
