What a terrible showing by both sides of the ball.Ravens receivers running wide open all night with defenders not even close, and weren’t much better against the run.Patterson was very disappointing on offense.3rd qtr just started and I cant watch anymore, pitiful, just pitiful.

One thing about Baltimore is they(Harbaugh) care about the preseason. They also use defensive blitz and pressure against unschemed offensive lines. You see it every year, and in last night's game there were times they had all out blitzes all first quarter. For me, it is a bit ridiculous.

Edit: just read Ravens fear Dobbins may have suffered a torn ACL and be out for the season. I get playing the starters, but damn that sucks for Dobbins if true.

Hopkins didn’t really botch the 55 yarder. It was that the new kicking operation hasn’t yet worked out all the kinks on achieving the optimal set-angle to humidity coefficient. Plus his new shoelaces weren’t broken in.

I really don't understand why Hopkins is still on the team. He's a serious liability. I'll go on the record and guess that we are in the top 3 teams for missed kicks this year.

The best thing about pre season is that it is over. Now we can see if the hype about the defense is real or not. Now we can see if Fitz will implode or not. Is Samuel going to play? Can Hopkins keep his job? Will Heinicke get another shot?

Oh and Kyle Allen stinks. He does nothing for me.

It is not fathomable that he is the best kicker available to us in the world right now. He is awful.

Re: WFT 2021 Pre-Season Games Thread

For perspective, us old timers remember winning the pre season handily in the Steve Spurrier era.

Having said that, I hope the coaches saw what they needed to in the individual performances on the field and will be making the best decisions possible regarding players in the coming days. And I can report a MAJOR success for the pre season that many teams cannot: We lost no one due to serious injury. Really can’t ask for much more than that.

Re: WFT 2021 Pre-Season Games Thread

The combination of Scott Turner’s unimaginative offense and Kyle Allen’s uninspiring play is deadly. QB, OC, K, and lack of overall depth (LB especially) need upgrading. It’s really up to Fitz to make us a playoff contender this year (D will do its part.)

According to Ron 4 places were up for grabs going into last night, now there are 6. At least two guys may have played themselves off of the roster.

The other way to look at it is, two players played themselves more into the mix.

AGG and Bada are a couple possibilities.

Re: WFT 2021 Pre-Season Games Thread

Played onto or played off of, different sides of the same coin. Wonder whether Reeves was one, he had a rough night so did Apke. To keep an extra (9) DL they would need to drop a DB, didn't see much of Deandre Carter, maybe AGG or Milne have displaced him.

Think Bada is destined for the PS

If Carter had more to prove he would have been on the field.
