Re: NFL Draft Thread
Pace LB and a few decent RBs still available. Also Luke Wypler oddly, major slide , thought he was a 2nd/3rd rounder

Re: NFL Draft Thread
Yeah, maybe they see Gibson in that role or maybe EB doesn't have that role in the new offense but I think he had it in Kansas City. Still might be looking at McKinnon

Re: NFL Draft Thread
Per Nicki Jhabvala: Newly drafted Commanders RB Chris Rodriguez Jr. posted this on IG today. He lost his mother in January after a battle with Lupus.

Re: NFL Draft Thread
TBH I'm leaning towards French's take. Less bothered about LB though it is a weakness (trade coming up maybe?), than the lack of a road grader on the OL. We may have potentially the best DL in the division if not the league, but that doesn't mean everyone else's are bad. Most everyone else in the division is now able to keep their QB upright against our pass rush and run it down our throats. We can't say the same. EB better be able to scheme up a way for us to chew up clock when we need to because I don't see us as a power run O or consistently making big plays passing while SH is operating outside the pocket a lot.
The one thing I do think we've improved on is the ability to get turnovers, notably INTs, on D. We'll need them. |

Re: NFL Draft Thread
Anyone know why we don't seem to do much initially in the UDFA market or do they just keep quiet on signings? No word of any post draft signings...

The 2 DBs back to back were a little odd but maybe they are both ballhawks and Can replace Fuller and Curl in 2024… OL still has a huge ?? QB too. Is Howell the guy or will Brissett take over ? Going to be interesting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

And it was another reach. Mathis was a reach last year in the second. There were much better prospects on the board specifically the C from Minn and the Guard from Florida. Both those guys are starters in the league immediately The evaluations of Stromberg were all over the place. I dunno about 290 lbs tackles/guard but we will find out Like wtf, Forrest and Curl were later round picks…I’m expecting this Quan dude to ball immediately. His evaluations were late 3rd round pick.

The emphasis on RAS seems to be a trend. Cosmi, Forrest, and Butler are all freaky athletes. Stromberg is a freaky athlete, but not sure if he can hold the line against some of these interior monsters. Reminiscent of Corey Lichtensteiger. Great zone C, could not pass protect at all.
