Re: Drunk Thread
Saturday night, drank Peroni at my favorite Italian place, then I had my first experience with Goose Island beer out of Chicago. Their IPA is just ok, certainly have had better. Then had Mimosas and Bud Light while tailgating at the game yesterday.

Re: Drunk Thread
^ Thank you the wine talk was putting me to sleep.
I love JD and diet coke! If I am looking just for a quick buzz for the evening that is where I am going. Sometimes beer just takes to long and my gut hurts after too many.

Re: Drunk Thread
My favorite drink by FAR. Lately though, the price difference and taste between Beam and JD is just too great to ignore. JD is obviously better, but you can save like ten bucks for the pizza (deep dish!) you will inevitably order when you drink the Beam.

Re: Drunk Thread
nothing beats a burbon(beam) and ginger in my book, although i do love tequilla with lemonade, preferable crystal light, that way you don't have all the sugar from a margarita it's not just a summer drink either it's a year rounder for me

Re: Drunk Thread
HAHAHA. I'm the same way. I think it's the juniper berries that is the prominent flavor in gin. On gamedays (like I am right now) I usually buy a twenty pack of Bud Light and begin drinking as soon as I wake up. I am feeling fiiiiiiiiine right now and it's only 9:30 am.

Re: Drunk Thread
Anyone else drink crown and ginger? If I want to get "right" pretty quick, I will have a couple of those.

Re: Drunk Thread
I've always preferred Beam to JD, but to each their own. While similar, JD and Beam are 2 different cats, and both certainly have their place. If you get a chance, check out Wild Turkey American Honey.
In College, I definitely did a lot of VO/7/CC (whichever was on sale) and 7 or Ginger. Nowadays I lean toward Crown or Jameson and Ginger. I've always been a Rum guy. Definitely my fave is Sailor Jerry. Spiced like Captain Morgan (which is a go-to when at the bar), but has a different, wilder bite to it. Or a dark and stormy with Myers Dark and Ginger Beer.

Re: Drunk Thread
Man, I LIKE rum, but because of it being sugar cane I get SO sick on it if I drink a lot of it. One night I got wasted in the middle of the week on rum and played basketball the next day and people said they could smell it coming out of me.
