I'm here to take my lumps. We got outplayed by Stanford. They were truly the better team. I honestly did not believe that they were that good. It was their year.

We'll still be in the top 25 this year and finish in the top 25 the next and again the year after that. The thing about consistensy is that we will be there. Our next legitimate shot at a national title is in 2013-14 though.

What a disaster. I thought it was going to be a good show but it turned out to be a Luck feature film.

If you thought it was Stanford's year wait for the Duck show.

You sure have all your eggs in that Duck's nest. You're the only person outside of Eugene that I've heard have such an absolute stance on this game. To think Auburn has no chance and will get blown out is hogwash. They've beaten Bama, Arkansas, LSU, Miss St... Aside from Stanford, who has Oregon even played?

I remember in 2006 when nobody thought a one loss Florida team had a prayer against Troy Smith and unbeaten Ohio State. A 41-14 beating later...

I thought the same thing myself. That being said, that Skov guy can go to hell. He's like Keith Brooking X1000000000000000 when it comes to being a giant douchebag on the field.

I also think that Tyrod is legit. I was really reserved about him for his entire career, but the past couple of games he is a REALLY good QB.

LOL. Tyrod Taylor wishes he was Troy Smith. Which isn't saying much as far as the pro game goes. But hey, if you ask Angry, he'll be better than Vick. Which is to say at some point Taylor will be at the very least in the discussion as NFL MVP. That's just straight up hilarious to me.

I'm a VT fan but I have so much fun ragging on my friends and family who are diehard VT fans. They are what they are and until they find a new O cordinator they will never win a big game.

I really want to see Jim Harbaugh come up to the big leagues. Too good of a coach, one of a handful that could handle it.

Re: ***2010-2011 College Football Thread***

Is it me, or has ESPN turned any/all BCS Bowl game trophy presentations into immediate post-game pressers? I mean, there is still confetti falling on Tressel, and Rece Davis is up there asking him about scrutiny surrounding Terrelle Pryor, etc etc. Just yesterday Rece was asking Harbaugh and Luck about their future before they could even start enjoying a win. What a cheap bunch of crap. Let the coach and the kids enjoy the big victory.

Maybe I have a short term memory, but since when did bowl trophy presentations turn into pushy press questions?

>>Side note- why is there an ad for Jimmy Cho stiletto heels currently right below this post?

Because an ad for any different type of shoe wouldn't make any sense.

Gotta capitalize on opportunities. They had soooooo many and failed to do so.

the Big ten was horrible this year , but OSU wins two BCS games in a row ! I have a feeling that the Ducks will lose two in a row . I hope the Championship game goes down the wire !
