Re: 2011 Redskins Free Agents Rumors and Reports-Part 3

Cincinnati is a dreadful team right now. The only reason their QB situation isn't being mentioned as a notch below ours and Seattles is because of the uncertainty around Palmer. But assuming he's not playing, they're barren. Dalton would be one of the worst rookie starts in years: AFC defenses will eat him alive this year. Gradkowski tops their depth chart; he's horrible. Jordan Palmer didn't make it here. That's ugly.

At this point, I would throw a 2 year contract offer at Aubrayo Franklin just to see if he bites. There's been zero interest in him so far.

Undrafted rookies signed over the last two days: DB Dante Barnes from Norfolk State, FB Kevin Gidrey from South Florida, DB Tyrone Grant from Delaware, G Corey O’Daniel from Gardner-Webb and LB Kyle O’Donnell from Liberty.
We've signed a few more young bucks.

hooskins likely can give you a better scouting report. But as a follower of the Cavs, I can say that I am surprised that we, or anyone, picked up Verica. His arm is not bad but his accuracy and decision making are not the best.

Mike S. Said it best, sometimes you can't just sign 2 Big names and ignore the rest of the team needs.

Huh? He's a 29 year old fullback with a blocking skill set. He's like the seventh best player available at his position.

He has two bad knees but if we can get him cheap...we should. (Lofa)

He's visiting the Raiders today though.

Cullen Jenkins, Philadelphia Eagles agree to 5-year, $25M deal, source says - ESPN

Definitely not as upset about this as I was about Nnamdi going to Philly. Washburn might be able to do some good things with Cullen Jenkins, but w/e. I'm glad our front office went with Bowen when Jenkins' agent tried to pull a fast one on us for more money.
