Re: RGIII Named Starter

NC I agree. RG has a bright future ahead of him. I could see him being a broadcaster, analyst, or just in entertainment when his career is over. He could become the new face of the nfl if he is as good as advertised.

Re: RGIII Named Starter

His star power is definitely off the charts. As long as his play matches it, he will indeed be a true superstar not only in the league, but he will be a household name in pop culture. Can't wait to see this kid on the field.

Leno has to got to be one of the worst interviewers out there. He acts disinterested and comes off totally disingenuous. His questions are so canned and he rarely follows up on an interesting point, he just moves on to the next question.

Q: Um so where do you like keep the Heisman and stuff? Not in a sock..(trollol)

A: Yeah, Jay (douche) I keep it in my back pocket

I've never used the term but would "pwned" apply in the above exchange?

What is really amazing to me is the fact that every one of his answers is a story that he has obviously told hundreds of times by now (and I doubt that's even an exaggeration) yet he comes off as if it was the first time he has told it. I absolutely hope his on field play matches, but I think it is without question that the team will rally around him in the games. We finally(!) have a leader on offense, and that's a GREAT thing.

Re: RGIII Named Starter

After watching the Leno interview I truly believe RGIII personifies everything you could want in a pro athlete from the off-field POV.

Things are set for greatness if the team can play up to his level on the field.

I'm really trying hard to to lose my mind with positivity that RGIII creates for the upcoming season.

Leno: "When are you going to get married?"

RGIII "Sometime next year, gotta on the playbook......"

I agree, I've never understood why Leno's even got a show. I prefer the style Graham Norton uses, much more disarming interviewer and very witty.

Robert Griffin III's arm has already earned legendary status at Redskins camp - Yahoo! Sports

Nice article on our guy. It could go into a lot of threads but thought this one deserved a bump
