I don't think the Rep. guys here would have acted like a bunch of kids who just won their first thing ever. I've had a pretty good laugh at how some here have the childish post after post they just keep on going and going and going.

Wondering when we'll close it, because it's seeming like just a lot of personal attacks and not a lot of substance.

My point isn't to compare how generous OFA was, but how loyalty and showing people you care matters when you want to enlist them four years later. Those people Romney burned will never work for his ass again. It was a dick move to shut down the cards with no advance notice, especially since those staffers were probably working for low wages to begin with.

But whatevs..the election is over. Couldn't care less about Romney.
So he was buying votes in 2004 too.

He didn't lose a 1.5 billion election... hopefully he will come through for us and raise your taxes and redistribute the money to the 47%.

I'm self employeed and he will hit you guys before we get hit. I'll just take less income and start saving more money through a SEP or something like that.

OK, Saden I'll keep it simple for you. A SEP is just an IRA (individual retirment plan) that a business can contribute into. You should look into an IRA for yourself they have two different plans Roth & Traditional.

For more on IRA's.

Let me google that for you

I'm hip to the game and the scary thing is I understand how the marginal tax rate works and the fact that the piper eventually gets paid when you hit 70.5 or croak.

You can only hide for so long you tax sheltering, estate scheming, inheritance tax eliminator, you.

So I guess your saying you don't write off anything on your taxes and I'm guessing your going to claim that $$ you won?

That, and I'm amazed at the total lack of substance from the left in this thread and and this election. Seems like it all was about who can be the most negative while appearing confident laughing out loud about it.

At times, we'd talk about whether cost would go up under Obamacare, and federal debt and spending, and constitutional rights. But I guess facts were too inconvenient this time around. All that got swept aside for commercials accusing Romney of shipping jobs overseas (factcheckers debunked this early on but that didn't stop the commercials), a college student complaining her birth control was too expensive for her to pay alone, legalizing pot, going forward on a bad economy for four years with more of the same (It's still going to improve, just not as much as it could have.), and ridiculous accusations like "Romney supports child labor!".

Romney couldn't even talk about going out of his way to hire women, without liberals screaming "Are you offended he said "binders full of women""" All style, no substance this time around. This thread and election have been eyeopening and headshaking.

Nobody has "won" until big money lobbying gets out of our politics. It's really that simple. Doesn't matter if it were Dems or Repubs. I personally drill the GOP harder because they simply show their colors more often and generally in a much /facepalm type measure. Until those guys can learn to get their act together and stop representing a small fraction of the nation, they'll continue to lose elections.

.....also, it's things like this that infuriate me as well. We talked about it before, and what was true then is still true now.

...and not to leave any of you GOPers out.

^^like I said, doesn't matter.

NC you us really bad sources the guy making the claim is under indictment for funneling campaign funds from the rep party.

Greer, who is under indictment and accused of funneling campaign funds from the Republican Party, has been claiming that state Republicans supported a law (HB 1355)—which, in part, curtailed early voting—simply as a means to stymie the Democratic vote.
