Re: Set it all aside -- Training Camp Begins
sweep, zone reads and tosses to the left set up PA bootleg to the weak side pretty well for RG3 in the past.
i hope we can run weak side this year. |

even if it was legal, i wouldnt allow my players to do it during football season. it shows a lack of discipline and commitment. it will make your brain foggy in the morning, it will make you eat munchies and play madden until 4 am, it will effect your short term memory to a small degree. being 22-23 does not excuse a professional athlete from not being 100% committed to being the very best player he can be. in the offseason or only the night after a game could i understand and justify it ... but in training camp? when you havent proven yourself to be a contributing player or teammate others can rely upon? certainly not the end of the world but i want 52 players with a drive to excel, to eat sleep and shit football when it is football season .... and guess what? its football season. time to put your hard hat on and earn that money and fame. show your commitment or i will show you the GD door. give me 52 RG3s and London Fletchers and I will show you an over-achieving team with limitless potential. |

Re: Set it all aside -- Training Camp Begins
True, but my point is, Griffin's game isn't defined simply by pure pocket passing. He is better when you move him a bit, and although defenses will try to keep him in the tackle box, good game planning on our side, which I expect we will have, will put RGIII in positions that give him the advantage.

Same can be said of alcohol use which players also engage in. It's all about responsible use in the end. |

I was about to say the same thing. Alcohol use has far more hangover issues, foggy, headaches, stomach issues and not to mention way more motor skill issues while under the effects (DUI or worse...death). Interesting how society perceives things.

Re: Set it all aside -- Training Camp Begins
Speaking Thursday, Redskins coach Jay Gruden praised Alfred Morris, calling him "Steady Eddie" for his practice habits.
"Just about everything about him is an impressive to me — the way he prepares, the way he works, the way he practices," Gruden said. Meanwhile, FB Darrel Young praised Morris' improvement as a pass catcher. "He’s catching everything," Young said. "He’s on a hot streak right now, running his routes, doing the little things better." Although we still don't expect a meaningful role for Morris in passing situations, it's clear Gruden and Co. aren't going to shy away from him on early downs

Disappointed in Breeland, didn't he see what happened to Tanard Jackson? Stupid is as stupid does. He better get his shit together quick or he won't be around, the good thing out of this is that it open a spot for Crawford or Minnifield due to suspension.

Re: Set it all aside -- Training Camp Begins
So you guys think that over half of the NFL smokes weed? Wow! I would think, at most, maybe between 35-45%.
