Bets that Carolina will be at full throttle against us too...

[QUOTE=CRedskinsRule;1157890]Tampa has to play new Orleans twice and Dallas also.

"Has" to play them twice? I'd say gets to play them twice. That's at least 1 win.

When do they play Dallas? They might have their playoff seed already locked up.

Can't lose to 4-6 teams if you're trying to make the playoffs.

They play new Orleans Dallas new Orleans Carolina. Not an easy schedule. But I agree we needed that win today. Plus as ridiculous as it sounds now Arizona holds the tie breaker against us. Since they are the only team that could conceivably tie us.

Re: Skins Vs Card Game Day Thread

We are not a playoff team. We can't beat the best with only half a team. I take back what
I said about retaining
Barry. We have a
D populated by scrubs. The only real way to compensate for that is being ultra aggressive. The 4-3 is looking better by the week. Only one team from the east is looking playoff bound. Next week is a must win for us. Actually they all are at this point. The NFL is getting extremely lame. Most of the playoff teams sans the
Cowboys and
Patriots are rather mediocre. Not one of these teams could come close to beating a
NFC East team from the 80's .

Needed that win today - we are at two losses in a row now and that isn't good heading into December. O line injuries an obvious problem.

Trent shares some blame here - our best O lineman out for 4 games and when you lose close ones when pass protection is bad, you can wonder whether his presence makes the difference.

If we can't beat Philly next weekend stick a fork in the season.

Re: Skins Vs Card Game Day Thread

Just like everything else with the Redskins, they have to make getting to the playoffs as difficult as possible. Our goal is to never win more than 9 games. We're going for the 1/2 game improvement from last season. Aiming for 9-6-1. Now we have to win at least 3 of our last 4 to have a shot.

And why are the Bucs all of the sudden unbeatable?

The team is a big tease anymore. They win 6 out of 8 then take a dump. This seems to be the standard operating procedure for much of the NFL.

Re: Skins Vs Card Game Day Thread

We had the ball up 3 with the ball at our 44 after the missed FG and Lauvao got absolutely destroyed and they got basically a free TD.

He played like absolute shit today, he's really the only guy that needs to be replaced on our offense now. The defense? Well, that's a whole other story. We got our asses kicked by a super predictable offense.

David Johnson legitimately might be a top 5 player in the NFL. He is legit. My first time seeing a full game of him.

You bringing up the
Bucs perfectly illustrates my point. They suck then get on a win streak, but really don't have a shot at the title. You have plenty of crappy teams flirting with greatness then the bottom falls out or vice versa. Philly is the same. Started great, now suck. In the end, all but a half dozen teams in the league are mediocre. The Skins included. The constant hype machine that is churned out every week by
NFL .com is a joke. It gets fans to buy into the facade that their team is really good.

2-2 without our best OL is not bad.

One lineman shouldn't make a difference between a w or l. He doesn't play defense and the offense clicked the second half. We do not have a defense that can play consistently good.
