Agree, pretty sure it's a common practice.

NFL to relax celebrations rules, allow more freedom

Good news: Fun celebrations are back.

Bad news: Violent/offensive celebrations, such as shooting a bow and arrow or an imaginary machine gun, are still outlawed.

Also OT is now 10 minutes. I don't really have a problem with it, 10 minutes is plenty of time for each team to have a couple possessions if they don't score.

I don't get the bow and arrow. I can understand anything that mimics gun violence -- I don't think anyone would dispute that it's a plague (without taking a position on whether those kind of celebrations have any relationship or are desensitizing). But is there an epidemic of bow and arrow violence that we should be worried about? Is Hunger Games real after all? Geez.

I say bring back the Fun Bunch! Doctson (Monk), Reed (Warren), Pryor (Seay), Crowder (Garrett), and Perine (Wonsley) with the leaping high-five. Will be sweet.

Clearly the bow and arrow celebration is so families of people who have been killed with an arrow won't be offended.

/sarcasm.

I think it's just easier for the NFL to outlaw any "violent" celebration and by definition that includes a bow and arrow. I also agree that it would be nice to see us bring back the fun bunch celebration, with permission from the elders of course.

I like the 10 minute overtime. I think that is a very good compliment to the OT scoring system, but I expect we will see more ties than even this year. Which qb will be the first to lose and say "I thought we had 5 minutes left" a la DMcNabb?

You mean the voluntary OTA's ,you are correct as did Jordan Reed and Trent Williams.
