Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
I hope you aren't looking to get draft picks, they aren't worth it. QB isn't the only position that is bad in this draft. Bottomline don't trade good players for draft picks when it is a shitty draft class.

Less than we could have before he decided to throw a tantrum and get into an altercation with our All Pro team captain DL Jon Allen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Payne is a good player, we need to keep good players

Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
We can sign Ioaniddis and Settle for less than Payne will cost by himself. And he only has 1 year left.
As long as the draft compensation is fair, I don't think trading him is a bad idea. It's not necessary if say someone only offers like a 5th rounder. I'd rather have Payne for 1 more year because he is good. But if someone offered a 2nd, I'd do that trade, then work on signing at least 1 of those other 2 guys, and ideally both.

Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
I wouldn't wholly disagree, but we have Allen, Matty I and Settle backing them up. I'd say if there's anywhere we have good depth, it's DT. We can't afford to pay them up when their contracts come up, so makes sense to consider draft capital while we can.

Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Again, I'd like to point out this is a terrible draft class so trading good players for picks in this class would be a pretty stupid thing to do. Now if the idea is to trade him for another good veteran that is a different story.

Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Did this whole draft class kick your dog? There are good players in every class. There are lots of guys I'd gladly want on my team that will be drafted in 2022.

Howell is really good, gamer , tough , he's kinda like a Mayfield tho.. He will make some throws that you scratch your head on

Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
At least the decision making process can be improved, I like what I see from Howell in his highlights so I wouldn't be upset if we draft him. There are a few QB options so it will be interesting to see who WFT draft.

Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
The more I read about Howell the more I like him, we could trade down and get him and additional picks.

Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
I wanted Kyle Hamilton from Notre Dame, he went 1 pick before us.
But I like Cross. Him and Cosmi would be super athletic bookends.
