Could have won this one had it not been for the humiliating defensive showing.

Maybe Fauria is hurt.

If the friggin defense had stopped T-Bay from running, maybe JC wins the f***ing game.

for a first start, certainly more than workmanlike.

Call me crazy, but I'm kind of happy that Campbell looks pissed that we lost. I hate it when we lose and then people go out all smiles and shaking hands. You f-ing lost - get in the locker room, cry your eyes out and punch something, then go fix it in practice next week.

Of course we lost, but hey, not a bad start for a guy who's never had an NFL snap.
GARBAGE TIME BLAH BLAH BLAH GARBAGE TIME. HE SUXXXX.

Seriously though, I thought he played pretty well. It's not his fault that our D is horrible. It was a good showing and hopefully he can build on it.

Well Campbell looked totally capable today. One more than occasion I found myself saying..."Brunell could never have made that play". Based on one game(not much) Campbell looks like he could be a quality starter. I think we should with hold judgement for a while though. So hope was instilled today I guess.

He's realistic, are you expeting us to go to the superbowl? At least now we can look at some young players and see what they can do for next year. ooppss I forgot we don't have any young players other than Campbell, just a bunch of overpayed nonsignificants

Re: Skins vs. Bucs 11/19/06 game thread

The offense looked great today.. too bad they were barely on the field.

But I expected a loss, what I didn't expect was a great show by JC. I am very impressed and happy with what he showed today. Now we've got the problem isolated to the defense..

Touche.

I never made the argument that Brunell's stats were all "garbage time," though I do think his stats may have been a little inflated in a few games.

Campbell trying to bring the team back when we're down 10 points with 4 minutes to go isn't "garbage time," there's still a somewhat legitimate shot at winning or tying the game.

Throwing the ball a whole bunch in the 4th quarter when we're down 20 or 30 points is garbage time.

It is too early for me to agree that he is overated, considering that Brunell never had to start without Portis and Moss. Part of me wanted to actually see Collins, because the guy is the #2. He is getting reps with our offense weekly and Campbell is running the scout team. More importantly, Collins knows Saunders playbook. If Collins started, I would have known by now if I needed to tie cinder blocks to Al's legs and throw him off the Wilson Bridge.
