Re: Divisional Round Weekend '10
There was something about the Chargers that was missing -- can't quite put my finger on it. They were good, but not great. If they had somehow made it past the Jets, I don't think they could compete with the Colts, Vikings or Saints.

Re: Divisional Round Weekend '10
Interesting you pick the Jets. The Colts will have to play better against the Jets than they did the Ravens. Manning had an above average day passing 30-44 for 275 but their running game was dismal. Joseph Addi 11-23- 2.1ypc; a team total of only 42 net yds rushing with only 3 1st downs. The Jets proved they can get the job done on the road and could prove a formidable foe with their defense.
I don't think the Jets will be a stretch, so I like you will take the Saints & the Jets. The Saints are difficult to beat at "home in the dome" |

Re: Divisional Round Weekend '10
The Colts had beat the Jets in the regular season, they know how to do it, and I am sure they will do it again. I think the Vikings will be able to beat the Saints, but I prefer that the Saints make it to the SB.

When you've gotten where you are from using steroids and suddenly stop, you may see a drop off in production.

Re: Divisional Round Weekend '10
I guess the question for next week is...is the Jets combo of Jones/Greene at RB better than the Baltimore combo of Rice/McGahee? I thought the Ravens would run all over the Colts, but they didn't. And the Colts D did a good job in pressuring Flacco...though I suspect the Jets line may be better than the Ravens. It is going to be an interesting game.

Re: Divisional Round Weekend '10
Huh? Jets beat the Colts week 16. However Peyton Manning didn't play the second half. My guess is the Colts beat them this time around. The Jets have a phenomenal defense, but I just don't see Peyton allowing the Colts to lose this game.

Yeah, those Roids will do it every time. When I had origionall thought of him as a prospective Redskin I realized that's a problem we definately do not need even if he hadn't been injured.

I mean that the colts were winning, when Manning was pulled out, and the colts lost. Do you think they will pull Manning with a 2pt lead next week?

Re: Divisional Round Weekend '10
I think: Colts vs. Vikes
The Colts are too good for the Jets, regardless of their first game, and the Vikes are more balanced than Saints. I will be rooting for: Saints vs. Jets I've rooted as much as I can for Favre (one game) and am surrounded by Saints fan friends whom I do not wish to anger. Jets just to back the underdog, as I am wont to do.

Re: Divisional Round Weekend '10
Saints at home are tough and their receivers will not be stopped by the Vikes DB's, Saints D will spank Favre and Co. Favre will retire for the 20th time. I pick the Jets because I think they are more of a complete team than the Colts and Rex Ryan is my X-factor who knows how to motivate his team.

Funny the Colts rested and let the Jets in the playoffs, now if the Jets can pull the upset the Colts will be ready to kick their HC in the nads
