Re: Around the NFL week 4

I just saw Packers/Broncos highlights for the first time. Aaron Rodgers is through the roof good. My gosh.

I was wondering, how the hell does a Super Bowl team improve that much in a shortened offseason. Then I realized that a lot of the guys they lost last year got healthy. This is the team people would have had to deal with if they had been healthy.

For better or worse they remind me a lot of the 2001 Rams.

Re: Around the NFL week 4

worst monday night matchup ever. the colts without peyton are about as exciting as my front lawn.

looks like revis gets the unquestioned #1 CB spot. he's looked SO much better than the iggles lot.

After last week the Colts have gone from a boring basement dweller to a gritty team with a chip on their shoulder. They're actually kind of interesting to watch.

On a side note, does anyone want to guess how much Mark Sanchez is making this season?

Yeah after that game against Pitt, I think they'll try to lean on their D more and more. I bet tonight's game will be more exciting that people think.

And whatever Mark Sanchez is making this year, it's more than he's worth. That guy sucks. My closest friend is a Jets fan, and he's convinced Sanchez is going to be a star. Nope.

Re: Around the NFL week 4

I love Jim Schwartz of the Lions poking fun at Rob Ryan's idiotic comments.

Romo's struggles make me smile so big. What Doc Walker says about him really is true- he suffers from "competition anxiety." LOL.

So anway, who here's excited for Curtis Painter on Monday Night Football!!!
No question Smith's had a rough go in SF.

I have no idea why Rob Ryan would say anything about Calvin Johnson. Not a good idea to give a guy with that type of skill any added motivation.

It's what the Ryan boys do- open their mouths wide and wait for their shoes to find their way in. Buncha blowhards.

Re: Around the NFL week 4

Right before the season started, Rex made his 3rd straight Super Bowl declaration and it looks worse than ever. I love it.
