Re: Redskins vs Seahawks Game Day Thread
im not worried about draft position right now, id rather see my team winning and ending the season on a high note heading in the right direction. thats what is most important imo.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan who hates the team losing. Not just because I'm depressed but because this city always has a thick cloud over it after a loss. Am I wrong to hope for a loss, yes. What I'd like to see is this team showing spunk and playing it's games close, showing it can or could win the games, the whole time giving the young guys playing time so they will be ready next year. If we were to win here and there and stay at 5,6, or 7th place in the draft, and do what? take a RT? CB? FS? WR? If some of you are correct and only two QB's decide to come out then we might or might not get lucky with picking a decent QB. and we will be hard pressed to find a decent QB in the second round on, possible think of Dalton and their probably will be another Dalton entering the draft, but everyone here had him 4th round or beyond and not making it in the NFL. If the other half of you fans are correct and all decide to come out then yes there will be some 4-5 decent QB's to chose from. Picking the right one for the system is the key. In either situation it's a matter of picking the right one for this scheme. Luck will be gone. No way the Colts give up their #1 pick in which they too desperatly need a QB cause their beloved Manning is on the down side. Their current #2 didn't turn out the way they expected and they had to look elsewhere. They are definitly taking a QB at #1. So out of the remaining which one fits the scheme best? I'm asking which one whether he plays in an NFL system or not which one fits the system best. This is why I'd prefer we lose cause in the long run it's about how many remain that will be declaring and which ones fit this scheme and what are our chances of getting them. |

We'll probably pick behind Indianapolis, St. Louis, Carolina, Minnesota and then maybe Arizona, Cleveland, and Jacksonville. So between 5th and 8th.

Re: Redskins vs Seahawks Game Day Thread
Well put. All I care about is seeing improvement with the young guys and ending the season on a high note. Gotta lotta pride in the locker room and the effort is totally there. There is good opportunity for young guys to get better. Saw it today with Helu, Hankerson was putting it together a couple weeks ago, Banks been better in the return game lately, Barnes playing better in coverage, Mo Hurt getting that experience, Riley turning into that future stater, Terrance Austin not being a worthless POS (oops he still is), but im looking to see who the next guy to step up and play well. Gomes im looking at you.

Re: Redskins vs Seahawks Game Day Thread
Outside of Denver, Seattle might have the worse passing offense in the NFL. So with that being said, I'm not surprised that D. Hall had a good game. He should've had a good game. Now D. Hall, back it up the next two weeks!

im going to grow a beard.
that will give my life some kind of excitement. even my dogs are miserable. about 90% of the time i hate my life. do drugs, have unprotected sex, drive drun, hold a C average and date hookers exclusively. doing lines with a paid for slut for the fourth time in 2 hours might be the best time of your life. walking thru target with a coffeee hoping you can go to TGUF if your a good boy is no way of going thru life.

Re: Redskins vs Seahawks Game Day Thread
Jeremy Mills of ESPN Stats & Information passed along the order through the top 11, noting that a Pittsburgh victory over Kansas City in the late game Sunday would drop the Rams to third and the Seahawks to 12th. The order for NFC West teams would remain unchanged if the Chiefs won. Pending the Chiefs-Steelers outcome, the order reads this way:
* 1. Indianapolis: Peyton Manning's age and injury situation would compel the Colts to strongly consider drafting a QB. * 2. St. Louis: The Rams' current leadership loves Sam Bradford. Question is, will the Rams' current leadership survive the season? * 3. Minnesota: The Vikings selected Christian Ponder with the 12th overall choice in 2011. * 4. Jacksonville: Blaine Gabbert is just getting started. * 5. Carolina: Suffice to say, the Panthers are pleased with Cam Newton. * 6. Miami: The Dolphins have needed a franchise quarterback for years. * 7. Washington: Shanahan has young pass rushers and a young left tackle. He needs a quarterback. * 8. Arizona: The Cardinals made a huge financial commitment to Kevin Kolb. * 9. Philadelphia: Michael Vick's contract and presence would steer the Eagles toward other positions. * 10. Cleveland: Colt McCoy hasn't done enough to deter the Browns from considering a QB early. * 11. Seattle: The Seahawks haven't drafted a QB since using a 2009 sixth-rounder for Mike Teel. |
