Re: Hey Ho, Haslett has to go! (or maybe not)
A 3-man rush was a nice change up. Coverage wasn't executed well. I saw who was on the field during that defensive play and was like, "yikes!"

Re: Hey Ho, Haslett has to go! (or maybe not)
Late input: During the Cowboys game the defense looked great. Haslett did a great job with the guys he had. I say he stays. If he can make the Redskins defense look that good, then he deserves to keep his job. I heard it was Mike Shanahan who wanted to switch to the 34, not Haslett. Plus the defense had a lot of injuries, which put them in a real bind.

Again, the big knock on him before was that he couldn't adjust in games (Amendola this year; Joe Webb last year for example).
Has he been adjusting now?

Re: Hey Ho, Haslett has to go! (or maybe not)
I dont know why youd feel that way. We would not be in the playoffs now if Haslett were not our DC. He's done a phenominal job and i'd say hes a better coordinator than Kyle - and i think Kyles a genius.
We have talent on offense and other good alternatives to call plays if Kyle left. The same is not true on our defense. we pretty much have the worst talent in the secondary than any team in NFL history and our defense has locked down high scoring offenses. I hope Has stays.

Re: Hey Ho, Haslett has to go! (or maybe not)
Yeah I thought about them, but for the Saints SB run Williams' defense was flat out balling, especially by creating turnovers. It wasn't an iron curtain type of defense but arguably the most opportunistic defense I can remember.
The Colts could be an exception, but then again P Manning is THE exception, right? (I'm betting on the Broncos to win the SB this year btw)

Re: Hey Ho, Haslett has to go! (or maybe not)
Haslett and K. Shanahan might stay for all we know. If Coach Haz leaves, who do we replace him with. Romeo Crennel? If K. Shanahan leaves, who takes his place?

My bet is KS will be harder to replace, even with MS staying. I believe it was Kyle that provided the lion's share of game planning this season. At the same time we're coming up with lots of potential DC candidates in our discussions. Last edited by SCRedskinsFan; 01-03-2013 at 11:47 AM. |

If Ron Rivera gets canned he would be first choice, same goes for Ray Horton.

I'd rather see Romeo Crennel as our DC if Haslett leaves. Don't have the slightest idea who would replace Kyle Shanahan though.

Mike Shanahan, but it doesn't sound like we have to worry about Kyle leaving anyway, right?
