Kirk has 76% of the redskins TD's, Wilson has 86% of Seattles.

Both are playing great football, difference is they have a good defense we dont

We do have a good defense, difference is we are missing some key players like Allen, Foster, Murphy.

I go off of stats bro, numbers don't lie. We are the 29th in points allowed and 18th in yards. Can't stop the run game at all

Stats don’t mean shit, just like metrics at work. Yes, we could get another pass rusher, DT and ILB. My off season wish list is re-sign Brown draft another stud ILB to pair him with Brown, get another pass rusher like Barnett in Philly, maybe sign a DT in FA or pick either in the draft. ILB position is imperative to stop the run.

Food for thought. While that is not inclusive it is a good indicator. There are a few outliers in there but even then they had successful careers. KC is a franchise QB imo.

He's our Tony Romo or Brees. Need to lock him up

Cousins is a top tier QB. He goes to Jax and he's competing with the Pats for AFC supremacy. Cuz, Fournette, Dede and a ridiculous defense... Khan should pay him.

That would be sick with that defense

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?

We have an OK defense. When healthy, the pass rush was sometimes good, but sometimes not. It's not consistent enough.

We need to continue to get better on the front 7. Keep Brown, upgrade Mason Foster to somebody much more athletic. Upgrade Preston Smith, who's not bad, but not bad isn't good enough. And get another down lineman like J Allen, clone him. Then we're where we want to be.

We shouldn't view the defense as close.

It's better than last few years but it's still not very good. Swearinger has helped a ton as has Brown. Allen looked solid until the injury. Still need a pass rusher that is actually good at more than one move. When I saw RK get thrown to the ground last night I just laughed.

Yeah I'm with you. We've seen improvements. But I don't want us to think that improvement is good enough.

Kerrigan can be a part of a very good front 7. But if he's your best and most consistent pass rush threat, then your ceiling as a pass rush is mediocrity. He gets stymied by the top tackles.

There's more than one way to skin the cat right? You can have a Von Miller or a Khalil Mack who just dominates all the damn time, and they can carry mediocre pass rushers elsewhere along the line. Or you can be like the Eagles and have players who are as disruptive at Kerrigan at all four spots. So that when one gets stymied, another is usually making a play. It's more consistent.

Our pass rush right now is basically Kerrigan gets home or nothing.

Kerrigan can play in a dominant pass rush. I think J Allen can. Ioannidis is good for nickel situations. But we really, really need somebody else to improve from the edge.

In retrospect, the better free agent move would have been springing for Calais Campbell instead of McClain and McGee. Sometimes the single game changer is what you need.

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?

Cousins is a good QB. I'm not sure if we are good enough to afford to pay for him to stay. This is what I mean by this...

We need a DT, WR, RB, LB, LG and QB (if Cousins walks).

Let's say we draft a RB. (my hope Guice)

We will need to resign Zach Brown, Mason Foster, Niles Paul?, Trent Murphy?, Spencer Long?, Junior Gallette? IMO.

Then we want an upgrade at LG, Pass Rusher, Wide Reciever, and Defensive Tackle. I don't believe in the front office's ability to draft.

The question for me is not whether or not Cousins is worth the $34.5 Million to franchise him or make him the highest paid player in the league. The question is can we pay that high price tag knowing we have so many other holes to fill on this team.

Right now, I let him walk or trade him for picks. Yes, we take a step back, but we can afford to strengthen other positions of need for the team.

2 types of teams, those with a QB and those without. I am against wandering through the NFL wilderness for who knows how long without one.

Agreed. Why is this even a debate?
