Re: Seahawks Gameday Thread
I blame the loss on the 1st half miscues, Hopkins, D and Haskins turnovers. If Haskins plays like he did the 2nd half we got ourselves a QB, it was night and day halves for him. You could see he started making better decisions and playing smarter against an aggressive D. Missing 3 LB’s, Gibson being hurt and Moses getting hurt at the end, didn’t help. They still came back and almost won if Thomas catches that end zone ball.

Re: Seahawks Gameday Thread
The game really came down to Hopkins missed PAT. Yeah DH had some bad ints but we were able to overcome that. We should not have been in a position to have to score a td at the end.
Against a really good team like Seattle you can not afford to have your kicker missing PAT's. The better team won but just really tired of Hopkins at this point. |

Re: Seahawks Gameday Thread
As far as DH goes, I don't really think he is a good QB. But when he is in hurry up he seems like a totally different guy and we have seen this a few times with him.

Re: Seahawks Gameday Thread
I blame Haskins for getting us into the situation in the first place. Hopkins I blame for making it harder at the end.

Re: Seahawks Gameday Thread
Playing QB is a lot harder than playing kicker. EP's should be auto-fucking-matic. Should have been playing in overtime. But he chokes yet again.

Re: Seahawks Gameday Thread
Wish we could have seen how that drive they had the 50 yard TD run ended, if that carry was only 5 yards. That one was a nut-kicker.

Re: Seahawks Gameday Thread
Moses was playing hurt, they should have left him out.

Re: Seahawks Gameday Thread
This. Everything else, yeah, Hopkins, run D (TD and Russell's big run that set up their 1st TD), 2 bad INT's. But you have a tackle with a gammy leg and put him back in for the 2 maybe 3 most important plays of the game? That one had me scratching my head seeing how he was run over. Plus we have 2 more games left and need Moses (never thought I'd say that!) healthy. This game mattered, geez, every game matters, but why risk your starter getting more hurt (which he may be) when you should be able to scheme to help the #2.
All in all though, I can't be too down on the team. I expected at least a TD defeat with Haskin's and we came within touching distance of another come from behind win. I still fancy our chances to beat Carolina and the Eagles and take the division. Go Browns! |
