If Collins started, I would have known by now if I needed to tie cinder blocks to Al's legs and throw him off the Wilson Bridge.
Just grab Gregg Williams and toss HIM off the Wilson Bridge.

It was the "LOL" part..I dont think any loss even if Jesus was QB and the season is over is even remotely funny ....Does anyone else?

Campbell trying to bring the team back when we're down 10 points with 4 minutes to go isn't "garbage time," there's still a somewhat legitimate shot at winning or tying the game.

Throwing the ball a whole bunch in the 4th quarter when we're down 20 or 30 points is garbage time.
Either way, garbage time is part of the game. I'm not going to take anything away from Campbell for running a successful drive against all odds. Sure, we didn't score fast enough to get the ball back, but you can only do so much.

He didn't turn it over and he ended up making all the right reads. I'm not so sure that he outplayed Brunell, but considering that the change was made for the future, and the dropoff was debateable, it certainly looks like a good decision right now.

I thought Jesus was the hurt guy who threw the runningback screen every other play.

Gibbs sounds upset (for him) about the defence.

To play devil's advocate for a second, how was our offense any different today than any other game. Was it our lofty 17 points? Our lack of a running game? No interceptions? Sub 200 passing yards?

This game was everything that has happened this season rolled up into one game. I wouldn't say the offense looked great, but it certainly was efficient (no surprise there).

That said, Campbell came in and did for this offense what Brunell was doing, moving the football and putting the D in good field position if he didn't score points. Campbell didn't give up the 95 yard TD drive. And he did it all without Portis and Moss, which although I wouldn't put him in Canton for, has to count for something.

Like I've said ALL ALONG - This IS NOT a QB problem. This is about our D. You cannot win a game with a horrible D. FIRE Rogers THIS WEEK!

Re: Skins vs. Bucs 11/19/06 game thread

One thing that's kinda interesting:

If Jason Campbell was brought in to throw the deep pass, and he only averaged 5.76 Yards/Attempt (Brunell's season average~7.0), then did he get that done?

I don't know. I was as impressed as the rest of you with his poise in the pocket, but 5.76 yards/attempt is pretty below average. Could it be that the vertical game is STILL lacking?

Re: Skins vs. Bucs 11/19/06 game thread

Adam (farce)heletta
rogers
Release them now

This was never a qb problem especially when the person u benched broke the completion record

Its a defense problem and when u have 2 people that bring this team down on the field then u have a problem CUT THEM

As for Al saunders....Im down with the tieing bricks on his legs and tossing him into the atlantic!

OH, and I was totally impressed with JC. Too bad we had to bench Mark for the rest of the year though. But I liked what I saw in him. Hopefully he will be good for us once we get our D put back together.

His completion precentage was low and will drive down avg per attempt.

However his avg yards per completion was nearly 20 yards.
