What's sad is not his how his career ended, the sad part is innocent children were allowed to be molested over the years by a monster and they sit back and did nothing. That's the sad part.

I do feel for his family though. My thoughts go with them as it's never easy to lose a loved one.

In all honesty I have no need for you to qualify or justify my thoughts or statements. I have no particular love or hate for Joe. I find it a shame that his monumental legacy is forever tainted but I have no illusions as to what.....I think he should have done with regard to the Jerry Sandusky/Penn State case. There will be plenty of outrage to go around for many years to come......

One of my friends posted this on facebook and had the below quote under it.

Re: Sex Abuse Scandal Rocks Penn State

Well look what we have here.

Report: Emails Indicate Ousted Penn State President Allegedly Said Not Reporting Jerry Sandusky To Cops Would Be "Humane"

Quote:
The NBC report said investigators have "major new evidence," including emails exchanged in 2001 between Spanier and university officials Gary Schultz and Tim Curley, both of who [sic] are already facing charges of perjury and failure to report suspected child abuse.

Investigators told NBC the emails show that Spanier and Schultz decided it would be "humane" to Sandusky to not involve legal authorities.

They thought it would be "humane" not to inform the cops of a child molester. I think the "humane" thing to do to these guys is to drag them out of their house burn them at a stake on their front lawn. ****ing pieces of shit.

The thing that upset me the most about this was the students protesting in support of the faculty involved. Are you kidding me? These are children we're talking about, and their safety comes before any allegiance to your university's athletic department. Absolutely ridiculous.

Matt Sandusky says he was abused by father, Jerry Sandusky | The Lookout - Yahoo! News

Too bad they can't enact the death penalty for these crimes he's committed. Looks like his adopted son dropped the bomb and testified (via letter) against his dad that he was also abused.

That's because it doesn't affect them. Nobody generally cares until it happens to them, then they want the world to back them up. Bunch of douche bag idiots if you ask me.

Yeah I agree with your last part too, either that or he'll be acquitted. I will be pissed as hell if that happens. Quick question, if he gets acquitted or a mistrial is declared, would anybody care if someone went to his house and killed him? Because I don't think I would. I'm firmly in the "I think he's guilty" camp, and I don't feel like there's any way in which he should be allowed to taste the free air anymore.

last night on nbc they had part of an interview with one of the victims, it was the first time he has spoken publicly, the first time any of them has i believe. he said the reason he came forward was because he felt guilty that he did nothing to stop sandusky and that it led to more kids being abused. he was molested from the age of 12-14 i think, he is now 30. the interviewer asked him if sandusky were here right now what would you say to him? he said i would punch him in the mouth. she asked if he would say anything first. to which he replied i know what he did and so does he, nothing needs to be said.

i am in the same boat as you, if he gets off and someone kills him i wouldnt lose a nights sleep over it. i'd much rather have him die in a jail cell alone though, f-ing pos.
