We don't have a pass protecting line. The elusiveness of RGIII makes them look a lot better then they are.

Re: Captain Kirk REDSkins browns game day thread
Tis is just how I said it was going to be yesterday, with any other QB we are not even average RGIII does so much with his mobility, play fakes etc. they are keying on the run and Kirk is just hitting mostly check downs.
This game is still not out of reach and neither are the playoffs but the light is fading...this is a must win game even with a Giants loss. |

And their offense would have hardly been on the field. 7 of their points is all on Cousins. This would be almost a blowout. We all knew if KC started we were gonna have to gut it out. Were in it. Were gonna win n control out own destiny. With RG-3 playing i would imagine.

Well Browns are forcing Cousins to beat them, drop backs are not working, only the roll outs mostly
I don't understand why they don't line up in pistol formation? They could at least line up in it and then hand the ball off

Browns would call the bluff n stop the run anyway. Imo.

Re: Captain Kirk REDSkins browns game day thread
OL needs to start generating some push at the front and get the running game going -- just keep possession. Browns are bad enough on offense that just getting field goal after field goal should be good enough

Re: Captain Kirk REDSkins browns game day thread
But I hope Shanny is paying some attention -- I understand that RG3 is a really dynamic player but this team needs to be improved across the board. RG3 masks a lot of the problems on this team.

Re: Captain Kirk REDSkins browns game day thread
It's an interesting dilemma. Drop backs aren't working, and the are selling out on the run. The bootlogs and PAs worked, but how long can they use that with the way the running game is going?
I believe Morris is going to rip off a few longer runs (10+ yards) and hopefully loosen things up. |

Re: Captain Kirk REDSkins browns game day thread
We're down 4 on the road with our back up quarterback who is also a rookie and we haven't played well yet, I'll take it!
Josh Wilson has a pick six in the 2nd half, and Garcon takes a quick slant to the house. 24 - 17 Redskins win! 5 in a row! Falcons, Packers, Steelers, and Bills all win! I drink lots of alcohol and get drunk and annoy my gf as I celebrate. |

Re: Captain Kirk REDSkins browns game day thread
I just want to see ONE zone read where Cousins takes off. At least make them play us honest. I still refuse to believe they're that good of a team. They have a GREAT OL, but marginal skill players.
