Tomorrow, new coach, Haskins starts. First 0-3 team to make playoffs. Or one of the few...and I'll say owner signs Ramsey

Re: Skin the Bears Game Thread

I think we will have our Jones/Haskins showdown I asked if we thought we would see earlier this week.

Case just played one of the worst games I've seen a QB play. Just atrocious.

Congratulations everyone!

You all have as many tackles tonight as Ryan Kerrigan

Yeah, but why not?

1. “The OLine is terrible”, “He might get hurt”.

Do you think with a new HC and rookie OL draft picks and FA the OL will be better NEXT season? Most likely, Moses, TW and Scherff will be gone next year. It hopefully will be a better OL next season, but why not get experience NOW. Haskins has better running ability than expected and better than Keenum. Use it!

2. “He’ll have to learn a new Offense next year”

So? That’s the NFL. He may go through several OC in his career.

3. He inexperienced and needs time “learning” on the sideline.

What is he “learning” by watching Case Keenum and/or Colt McCoy play?

Is learning how to lose? I mean if he was on the 49ers watching Joe Montana learn how to play at the HOFer level that’s one thing. But watching professional backups, like Keenum and McCoy, play is going to teach him what?

Give the fans a bone and play Haskins NOW.

Keep telling yourself that, if he didn’t play tonight, he’s not playing unless it’s the last resort. Maybe mid-season

I would not play Haskins until the OL is better - don't want him getting killed....

Re: Skin the Bears Game Thread

Case was bad tonight.
Scherff was awful.
Moses was not good enough.
Lack of communication on the defense continues to be a liability.
Going for two at 28-9 was idiotic.
24 points off turnovers...there's just no way to recover from that.

The overwhelming and warranted disrespect this franchise gets nationally is glaring.

I haven't been one of the many calling for change, but I think change is necessary, and it probably has to be drastic and purposeful. I don't know what that change will be, but here's some ideas:

B Allen - gone
J Gruden - gone
G Manusky - gone
K Smith = new GM
K O'Connell = new HC
R Horton = interim DC

The problem is, any big change would be admitting failure, so I don't expect any changes.

Re: Skin the Bears Game Thread

If there are not major changes within the next day or so, I may be done. After being a fan since 1973. Not kidding. Life is too short to be this miserable 16/52 weeks per year. And it won’t get better. Not with an owner too dumb or stubborn to hire competent football people. And as he is my age, he may own the team for the rest of my life. And that thought as much as anything suggests it may be time to move on. Nothing to see here. Totally depressed.

And they misspelled London Fletcher’s name on the scoreboard when inducting him to the ring of honor. This franchise does nothing well. Nothing.

Is Brandon playing like shit to spite us? Or does he just suck now?

I ain't giving him jack shit now, go chase your money. Don't need to pay him 15 million any more.
