Next week is going to be humiliating. I may just prepare to take next Monday off just to avoid all the Pats fans.

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
It's just not that simple. I would agree IF our offensive line was fully intact. People will get tired of me saying it, but the offensive line dictates what type of offense you're going to have. When all but one starter is injured, then this is the end result.

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
This team is a disaster on offense. Al Saunders sucks ass!!! Our WR corp sucks ass!!!!!!! Our QB looked totally inadequate today. We are looking at last place in our division unless we can get our act together.

No man, I hear ya. In fact if you look back over most of my posts on this site you'll see I'm on your side. I just wonder if the fact that we are not getting a solid run off the bat means we have to use some quick passing to open it up a little.

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
I hate to say it but our D can't take the Pats. No D in the NFL can take the Pats. I will be happy if we hold them to 31 points to be honest. And in the scenario our defense holds them to say 21 or something we still can't do it because our offense can't put up 21 points on bad defenses.

Our WR don't suck, they just can't catch. Well... I guess that would make them a little sucky. I was upset that Moss didn't get more catches especially after that poor GB game. So I guess we have to wait till next week to see if he'll bounce back. The only reason JC didn't look great was because he didn't open it up very much and when he did, they were dropping passes. Last place in the division... I dunno. I don't think so. Our defense is too good. If the offense doesn't win games then the defense will (like today) I think we may look at a wildcard position at best.

Let's go Vikings! I'd like to see the Cowboys get knocked off today...

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
I think we've tried some of that too. I just don't believe Portis is fully healthy. The problem with that too is that we're not getting good passing lines developed for that either. Maybe if we can throw in some more timing patterns to counter our injured line, that might help to open things up.

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
On our last posession, what was up with that draw play on third and seven? To me that was almost saying "We're just going to give Arizona the ball back!" Why would you call that play on such a crucial posession? Is it because they don't want an interception? If that's the case, how we gonna win games with that kinda of crap play calling?

Thing is we lost two of our best guys for the season, so our O line is going to be suspect the rest of the way. WE can't win too many more ball games with this offense, if any at all. Only winnable games if we do this poorly or even a little better is our game with the Jets and maybe Tampa Bay. I can't see us winning another divisional game with our O line this banged up and our offensive production so putrid. |
