That would make sense. He's basically a younger version of Frerotte. He would fit in well for them I think. The sooner they realize T.Jackson is probably not an NFL starter, the better off they will be. If they develop a consistent passing threat, they are a contender. They've got everything else.

He's gigantic at 6-7 320, and a smart dude from what I understand. Plus he's only 26. He's worth a look for sure.

worth a look, but he's not really going to blow anyone away with talent.

Re: 2009 Free Agents

John Clayton was talking about Jeff Garcia going to the Vikings, which despite his age would make more sense to me. Rosenfels is kinda hit or miss. Garcia could step right in, run the WCO and make the Vikes legitimate contenders. (not that we would want this)

I think Kwame Harris led the league in false starts last year and has breakdowns quite a bit in pass pro from what I've read.

But his upside?!?!?!? I actually would like to at least bring him in, especially if Buges thinks he can coach him. Actually I think a better acquisition would be Robert Gallery if he was available as we already proved we can make one Raider play top notch then maybe we can make another. Kalif Barnes should also get a look. If we're looking for value in the form of what we got in Grif then those two guys (Harris and Barnes) would be a good place to start.

Still I'm looking at Andre Smith.

It all depends on the dline. If we sign somebody like Haynesworth then i'd say we could go without elite corner play. If we don't upgrade the line then we need elite corner play to cover their ass off because we can't get any pressure on the quarterback.

Re: 2009 Free Agents

canty could be good value, though i figured the roids would figure out a way to keep him... for CBs, i'd look at foxworth if it's workable, since i don't think he's going to break the bank and he can play.

Re: 2009 Free Agents

porter isn't very good, and i doubt many other teams want him. nobody plays for raiders unless a) they have to (draft picks, low talent) or b) they don't mind being paid a lot to lose.
