I hate to say it because I dislike the Giants so much, but they have so many picks, they're going to have a good draft unless they start taking stupid pills.

What are the Raiders doing? Heyward-Bey at #7 and now Safety Michael Mitchell from Ohio at #47? Two huge reaches. I like Mitchell, he's a fierce hitter but they probably could have gotten him in the 5th or 6th.

no doubt, not to mention garrard shedding some weight to be more mobile.. now he'll have more protection too

For moving down those two spots, they picked up only a sixth round pick from both the Bucs and Eagles.

Am I missing something here? Was there more to the story? I know there's a numerical chart which assigns value for each pick, but it just seems like that was a small price for the Bucs and Eagles to pay. If I'm a Browns fan, I don't like moving down a total of 4 spots in the first round for two lousy 6th round picks.
I was saying the same thing, not a lot of value for all the transactions. Vinny did much better for us last year, but as sfredskin would point out, they did get A. Mack.

Please tell me you have ESPN on. Kiper had Mitchell as a potential free agent. He just said that they could have probably waited until at least the 5th round. Hell, ESPN doesn't even have a clip on this kid.

Imagine Mitchell's weekend. He probably is out to dinner or something tonight, maybe going to a club. He figures he might get a call tomorrow afternoon, but instead he ends up going in the middle of the 2nd round!!! That's got to be a good feeling.

All I can compare this to is like someone walking into an 09 fantasy draft and taking Priest Holmes in the 2nd.

Awesome.
