Lucky was cleared, how would you feel about picking him up?

No problem with picking him up.

Cowboys completely screwed this up

Its hilarious that all of a sudden the Cowboys are tough on crime with several high profile violent and domestic violence incidents in the court now.

lol...

Here’s just a part of the transcript:

On whether he regrets Whitehead’s being cut and whether he will address the team about the move:

Garrett: Yesterday we made a decision that was deemed to be in the best interest of the Dallas Cowboys. We’re standing by that decision. We’re going to move on.

On whether the decision to cut Whitehead was based on the idea of the arrest:

Garrett: Yesterday we made a decision we felt was the best interest of the Dallas Cowboys. We’re going to stand by that decision. We’re going to move on.

On whether it is fair to Whitehead to say the same thing over and over:

Garrett: It’s the truth. We made a decision we felt was in the best interest of the Dallas Cowboys.

On whether there are some people working for the Dallas Cowboys who are just too stupid to work for this team:

Garrett: I’ll stand by the statement that I made. We made a decision yesterday that we felt was in the best interest of the Dallas Cowboys. We’re going to stand by that decision. We’re going to move forward.

On sending the wrong message by rushing to judgment:

Garrett: Yesterday we made a decision that we felt that was in the best interest of the Dallas Cowboys.

Re: NFL offseason 1.0 thread

Garrett didn't make any decision. He just does what Jerry tells him to do.

I'm really starting to HATE the Cowboys. Before I just disliked them but now I just hate those son of a bitches. Jason Garrett is a bitch. He would wipe Jerry Jones ass if Jerry told him to. Does the guy have a set of balls? Or does Jerry hold them and tell Garrett when he can go take a leak. And that asshole Elliot doing that stupid feed me shit, and pulling down women's shirts in public.

I want them to go 5-11 in the worst way. I want to see them implode. And everytime I turn on NFLN they're all up the Cowboys nuts. It's seriously annoying as hell.

the hilarity here is Jerry and sons didn't complete any type of due diligence and cuts someone because they think essentially he is a bad character and will send a message.

This is the same organization that hands Greg Hardy a job and drafts pieces of shit like Randy Gregory.

It really is like that with every NFL team. The coach works for the owner. You cannot tell me that if Snyder tells Gruden something, that Gruden will not listen.

Issue is here, the owner is the GM. And if the GM decides to release a player, the player gets released. I am not reading too much into Whitehead getting released. He was on his way out anyway when they drafted Ryan Switzer.

Whitehead was 6th on the depth chart.....6th. You can find a 6th WR at an intersection holding a cardboard sign. I cannot believe the media is getting so wrapped around the axle on a #6 Wide Receiver.

As a fan of Dallas, I am not proud of all of the off-field issues. But I wonder if people really do care about it? The Cowboys lead the league (by a HUGE margin) in player suspensions. But, even considering that, all they have done is grow in popularity and revenue. 5 years ago, Forbes reported they were the 5th most popular sports franchise in the world valued at 2.1 billion. In 2017 Forbes lists them as the #1 most popular sports franchise in the world at 4.2 billion. If people really cared about this, one would think they would shy away from them because of the off-field issues. But it is apparently quite the opposite.

For me, the most important ability is availability. If you can't be on the field to contribute, you are not contributing and need to make changes. Either in your off field life, or, a new team.

Its like they are the Donald Trump of teams...zero class and character as a franchise, and a slinking respect from most the country. But hey, you got money...

Evidently, you've missed my point or I did not communicate it correctly.

Even with all the player issues/problems and suspensions all across the NFL, viewership and revenues continue to skyrocket. My example is the Cowboys lap the field when it comes to player suspensions. But they also lap the field in fan based revenue. Just check top jersey sales. People really don't care.

The owners and the league are getting richer by the minute. From their perspective, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

of course actions don't matter, In 1987 Pablo Escobar was hugely popular and at one time and elected official, and named to Forbes 20 richest people list. So of course money and fame is all that matters.
