@BenStandig Ron Rivera tells @TheAthletic no teams have reached out to the Commanders about a possible trade for Terry McLaurin — “and we wouldn’t entertain it.” But teams are monitoring the situation amid a wild WR spending spree that isn't over.

Because there is nothing else to discuss about, let's play a game - what kind of offer would it take for you to accept if a team approaches us about trading for McLaurin?

For Mike Ditka to obtain power again and give us a call.

Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition
I would do it for the same package KC got for Tyreek: 2022 first-round pick, 2022 second-round pick, 2022 fourth-round pick, 2023 fourth-round pick, and 2023 sixth-round pick.
No player is untradeable. There is a price for everyone. They "wouldn't entertain it" until someone gives them an offer they can't refuse. |

Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition
They avoid paying 3 1st round contracts and give themselves extra options next draft, as Ruhskins suggests; get a QB if they need one in a draft with better options than this one.

Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition
I think the Eagles are preparing for a scenario where Hurts doesn't work out and can trade up for a QB next year.
I think that is the ideal situation for us as well, except that we need a trade partner. I'm hoping Pittsburgh becomes that partner.

Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition
I think it is interesting to have the Iggles owner talk about regretting not drafting Wilson, given that they were apparently in the mix to get Wilson via a trade. This doesn't sound like a vote of confidence for Hurts.
https://www.delawareonline.com/story...ks/7228705001/ I'm mentioning this given my previous comment that they're making plans if Hurts doesn't work out.

Worse completion %, and about the same QB Rating. Less INTs, but that's more than likely due to the fact that he runs way more often than Heinicke - an average of almost 11 rushes per game for Hurts compared to just over 4 for Heinicke. Less passing TDs in more games for Hurts. Maybe he'll start balling for them this year, but my guess is they are setting themselves up for drafting a QB next year. |

Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition
Interesting take
https://www.acmepackingcompany.com/b...obs-kaepernick We know run first offenses are way less efficient than pass offenses but when bad weather adds to randomness of the game there is a bias that favors inefficiency. Building defense is far to random from year to year than building offenses which is why defensive production can vary so much year to year despite same team and players. (One of my pet peeves about all the investment we have had first round on defense with little return in games won). The article made me think twice about my bias against domed stadiums and the potential new stadium deal for Commanders, if it ever happens.

Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition
Diggs gets a 4/104M deal to stay In Buffalo for a while.
Terry will probably see similar

Diggs has been more productive but he hasnt had the Qbs and offense Terry has. This is the last year of affordable Terry. |

But I'd say they are about equal. Pay Terry his money.
