Well, not drunk, but 6 Stella Artois and some great tapas on the patio at Jaleo has me feeling nice!!!

I've yet to go to one of Andres' restaurants, love tapas though. Heard minibar is quite the experience.

I haven't been to minibar, but I heard it's pretty cool as well. He's got 6 locations in the DC area. I've been to Jaleo in Bethesda and downtown DC, as well as Zaytinya, which is really friggin awesome. If you watched Top Chef this past season, Mike Isabella was a contestant. He's the Exec Chef at Zaytinya. Jose Andres was GQ's 2009 Chef of the Year. He knows what he's doing.

I had some quail tonight, as well as patatas bravas, and some endives filled with tangerines, olive oil, and goat cheese. So delicious.

My boss would hate that I'm plugging the competition, but eff it, I'm buzzed:

what about cafe atlantico? that's one of his too right?

I did see Isabella actually on Top Chef, never did catch the profile on him though, that's pretty cool.

i'm having some of that money cab sav/merlot from costco after the intial two past the test, i went back for a dozen more. $80 for a dozen 3 liters bottles... i mean come on, who can resist?

I prefer my cab sauv straight up, merlot is a lil too weak for me

the cab sauv I was having is also chilean.. 120 Santa Rita.. I think 2006 vintage

also a good one for the price

does anyone ever post in this thread besides us three? and i'm gonna have to try some endives, had no idea about them and it's surprising since my fiancee is a vagetarian
