Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7
Totally agree...if we lose Moss then we basically have nobodys for wide recievers.

So the WR derby will be between
Hankerson - Kelly - Banks - Austin - Paul - Armstrong -

Santana might return, too.

So, who was Nebraska's qb, and do we take him in the 7th?

Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7
Saw it -- looks like he shows promise as a kick/punt returner. Perhaps a backup to Banks? Or are they seriously hoping for a starter here?
Listed at just less than 6'1" and 224 pounds -- kinda beefy for a wideout. |

Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7
I'd be surprised if he did, he was apparently friends with Vinny so if he has hate the Skins lately it's because of him loosing his friend in the front office.

Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7
Some scouts thought he was going to be the next great Big XII Wide Receiver but between the off the field issues and Nebraska's QB he fell. At the very least he has good physical tools so that makes me feel a little better about the pick but a lot of these guys could easily be cut.

Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7
I hope he beats out Banks.
Banks is so teeny he's a golf cart ride off the field waiting to happen.

Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7
29th out of 120. Thats top 25%. Definitely not the worst as some people suggested. Just trying to see the glass half full. No negative Nancy...

Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7
The overkill strategy has served the Lions well in the past
