Should have retired after St. Louis. He's been garbage ever since.

The Bears offense and Jay Cutler were pretty good this yr

Were they 24th when Cutler got hurt and they started playing Caleb Hanie, etc.?

Re: Coaching Changes

Looks like Shottenheimer will not be the OC for the Rams after all, heard Hue Jackson might be it.

Schott's still the favorite but they're bringing in Jackson for an interview

Re: Coaching Changes

Nope.

Indianapolis Colts fire Jim Caldwell after NFL-worst 2-14 season - ESPN

Should have happened when he fired the Polians. No reason for him to keep his job after a 2-14 season.

Yeah this was an easy move back when Polian was fired, as it is now.

I'm guessing Peyton's not too thrilled about that

Re: Coaching Changes

That was weird. espn reported that the Colts will retain him, then 5 minutes later it's breaking news that he's fired. That place is falling apart without you, SS.

See the problem is that SS always carried ESPN on his back, and the worldwide leader got very comfortable and never thought of the day they would need to move on without him. Now they will suffer a terrible season, although with a terrible record they will be able to draft that young hot-shot journalist who is coming out of Stanford in next year's draft.
