Man, and to think we still have Jarvis Jenkins who hasn't played a regular season snap.

Re: 2012 NFL Draft Day 3

According to half of these commentators I guess we should not have a backup qb because we gave up so much for Griffin. Doesn't make much sense to me.

Oh no thats not it at all. They were showing the highlights and I saw Cousins was wearing number 8. So I went from saying I loved the pick one sentence (which I did) to saying I hated it the next all based on the potential foreshadowing of a Redskin QB wearing number 8.

In short it was a Rex Grossman joke that NO ONE SEEMED TO GET! Thats right Warpath I'm talking to all of you. Not even appreciated for my comedic genius.

Re: 2012 NFL Draft Day 3

My wishlist
Chris Polk RB, Wash
James Brown OT, Troy
Matt Reynolds OT, BYU
Josh Chapman DT, Ala
Loni Fangupo DT, BYU
M. Martin S
Ryan Steed CB, Furman
Antonio Allen S, SC
George Iloka S, Boise St

All have certain issues (which is why they are still here) but most are graded with 2nd - 4th round value. I know we don't really need a RB but Polk looks like a steal here.

Ahhh, ok. I guess it was a bad joke.lol

Like you I do like the pick. No one on this board could honestly say they are comfortable with Rex Grossman as the backup for more than half a season. I love having a competent young intelligent QB to groom along with RGIII either in case we need him due to injury or for trade bait in the future...The former to me is more likely and the reason they drafted him.

Good draft so far in my eyes.

Everyone at ES agreed with me. It was bliss. We're building the best practice squad in the NFL. We'll address the actual team next year. jk
