Not even her “No Trespassing signs” stopped the man who broke into her house. But the moment Lisa Atkin pulled out her handgun the intruder stopped in his tracks. Then she had to wait 23 minutes for police to arrive at her rural home on that Wednesday morning. So much for the “just call 911 and you will be fine” approach that the anti-gunners want us to take. When seconds count… well, you know the rest. |
