Im afraid to read this article because my impression of this world (or atleast too much of it) is already too fragile. I think that press conference or not you just cannot fix an idiot. They sort of just have to get weeded out and die off.
Edit:I knew I shouldn't have read that....

Makes sense. Second comment made me laugh, so true though

So I just looked at our schedule again and Im convinced we can go 15-1 losing on the road, in OT, to San Fran. Which Im really not concerned about because we can exact revenge on them in the NFC Championship game.

Hey, if you're going to go all bats*** crazy optimistic on us, why stop at 15-1? Why not say 16-0? Anytime your QB is better than your opponents' QB, you have a good shot at winnning. So assuming a healthy G3 and Kaepernick are the QBs in the 49ers-Redskins game, we practically have that win locked up already...as long as you're still in your bats*** crazy optimistic mode.

Usually in May I can rationalize a pretty damn good record for the upcoming season. It pained me to predict that close loss in SF, but I figured it would make our victory in the championship game even sweeter. Plus I know how much Don Shula likes that little get together every year when the last undefeated team loses and I dont want my prediction to come true and have it get back to him that it was my fault. He is a very powerful man in South Florida, and I like to vacation there. I dont want any problems while Im there.

Seriously though I do like our schedule in terms of the teams we have to face on the road, except for SF of course. Watch us go 1-15 and only win that game. Lol.

LOL. Hey, serious or not, being overly optimistic is better than being overly pessimistic. Although the pessimists from last offseason did get the last laugh this time around.

Im always optimistic in the off season. Always. For the last 25 years I think this upcoming season is the one. I was definitely not a fan of the Shanahans. Just something about them that rubbed me the wrong way. Thought he was too stubborn to change when he knew he was wrong. Whether in game, or week to week. Whatever. He is gone. I loooove the fact that we gave a young hotshot coordinator his first chance. Im excited as Hell about this year. All boils down to Griffs health and what Haslett does with this D. It cannot possibly be worse than last year.

My soul has worn thin over these past two decades. My moments of optimism are fleeting.

I did like the Shanahans maybe it's because I think Elway got to much credit in Denver for those SB's and TD & Shan should of gotten more. Agree glad we took a chance on a hotshot coordinator. I like our draft picks. I'm trying to take the wait and see approach on our schedule wins & losses.

I didnt like Shanny here. I have and will again give him full credit for the SB's in Denver however. The ZBS and Terell Davis were all him. Elway was at the end of his career. A shadow of himself. Shanny - after that (and i mean Denver and DC) different story. Its like he was always trying to prove that he could win without giving a crap about a defense.
