With pick #48.1, the Panthers give Smith his wish and draft a WR, Damian Williams of USC.

so we've got two OTs so far. I'm thinking QB or RB here. Tebow or Dwyer?

Dwyer between those two, but look into Eric Norwood, OLB South Carolina. He'd be perfect for a transition to 3-4...and we need more LBs for sure.

Re: Warpath Mock Draft - Start Time 3/15, 8am
dwyer? wasnt he used more as a fullback type role in GT's kinda odd platooning of runningbacks?
is dwyer expected to be a 2nd round pick? i thought he was projected to be a 4th rounder.

Re: Warpath Mock Draft - Start Time 3/15, 8am
I've never watched the guy, but from what i've read, he's a projected 2nd rounder (the drafts 3rd-5th best RB in most mocks ive seen) and seems like a 1 cut and run type back.

Re: Warpath Mock Draft - Start Time 3/15, 8am
cant say i watched him or followed him closely either other than randomly watching ACC football. just knew he was big for a back and had a kinda odd role with GT.
just googled him and he comes in 6'0 235 lbs, ran a 4.59 and had 15 reps at the combine. played with his hand in the dirt as GT's "fullback" type option for their spread offense/running game.

Re: Warpath Mock Draft - Start Time 3/15, 8am
The Washington Redskins select Nate Allen, FS, USF
We have five SS. Allen can step in and start right away at Free. He's a smart player and will be the on-the-field extension of Haslett, once Fletch retires. Good tackler, doesn't make blockheaded mistakes...which we've had way to much of that the FS position the last two years. Physical tools good enough to start in the NFL, but not elite. His football IQ makes him a better player than his physical numbers. We certainly need an RB, however Dwyer, Tate, Hardesty, Gerhart are pretty much all the same guy and one will be there in the fourth, McKnight is a different back from the others, but he may slip into the fourth as well.
