Love the Thompson and Gettis picks. Will Phillip Thomas be coming soon?

The whole qb drama is already stupid.. rg3 is the guy for years to come. Cousins is trade bait in a year or 2

Iloka was a solid player; however he was real stiff in coverage according to a lot of the draft guys..not what we need, but who knows.

Nope, Cousins is way better than Beck and Grossman. Skins did what they did in 94' when they got Frerotte in the 7th after they got Shuler. They got the sexy pick, then got a decent college QB as a backup. Thing is the sexy pick was a bust, and theyhad to go with the true 7th rounder as a starter. Having the young Trent Green in the fold didn't hurt either.

I hope we draft Polk next after beefing up the interior line.

Re: 2012 NFL Draft Day 3

I know I freaked at the expense we paid for Robert, but I am trusting in the FO wholeheartedly. The acquisition of two fine guards is rather pleasing to me. We needed to do this maybe a couple years earlier, if not even beforehand. The FO is making a solid commitment to protect RG III and to have a young capable backup in case he goes down. Don't disregard Cousins, he is a true leader, and can produce if the time came. Good solid draft thus far.
