Re: Koren Robinson on Comcast (Local DC TV)
I think (with the exception of the first game) he was fine returning KICKS, we do need a punt returner though that can understand how to gague the ball after he looks at the coverage, and be right.

Re: Koren Robinson on Comcast (Local DC TV)
i still got scared whenever he took a hit because i thought he would fumble, but yes he is much more effective on kick returns than punt returns

Antonio Brown has world class speed, but don't ever expect him to put a move on somebody to get away. He runs straight ahead, and that's about it.

Re: Koren Robinson on Comcast (Local DC TV)
AB only ran fly routes in college (sstraight ahead at full speed), so its not a huge surprise that's all he knows how to do... maybe in the offseason they can teach him how to catch, how to judge which balls to return and how to dodge people like S Moss... or maybe not.

If all that is true, then let Joe talk with him. He'll know whether or not the kid has his head in the game. I love his talent and would love to see that kind of talent in burgundy and gold, but not at the expense of 52 other guys trying to win a Super Bowl. Let's see what happens with this one. |

Besides that he does have good size and speed and I think that he would complement Moss, Cooley, and Patten in the passing game...

Re: Koren Robinson on Comcast (Local DC TV)
I watched Robinson all the years he played at NC State. Kid is a great athlete, but he is also his worst enemy. If, and it is a BIG if, he can keep his head screwed on straight, he would be a good pick-up.

Re: Koren Robinson on Comcast (Local DC TV)
I think we need to undestand that Joe Gibbs isn't looking for "saints" to wear the burgundy and gold. Yes, he's looking for character guys, but exactly what does that mean? I think it entails a lot, but someone with a checkered past, such as KR, isn't automatically disqualified. Gibbs talks a lot about "human nature". When asked last year if the game had past him by, he basically responded that you know the game may have changed a lot since I've been gone, but people are basically the same.
I guess what I'm getting at, is that Gibbs has had a Koren Robinson or two in his day and I think he can be a powerful influence on this guy. I certainly think Gibbs would be open to meeting Robinson, getting a feel for him and coming to an understanding and a determination on his own. Don't be suprised to see this guy opposite Santana next year. |

Re: Koren Robinson on Comcast (Local DC TV)
I watched him at Nc State too. I remember thinking that this guy is going to be a star in the NFL. Good size, good speed, and good hands.
The fact is alcoholism is a very strong addiction and none of us know if he will turn his life around. Let's hope so. Right now he seems to have done some of the right things. If Joe wants to take a shot for him, i'd so go for it. He might have a good influence on him. |

Re: Koren Robinson on Comcast (Local DC TV)
Leave this guy alone. This guy has T.O. tendencies. Lets not pick up another guy that is going to be making bigger headlines in the off season than during the season. I'm still curious to see how Sean Taylor's off field problems are resolved.
