Re: Antonio Brown sent to NFL Europe

I think brown has more speed and football experience right now than cliff did, but he isn't worth anything until he transitions from track guy to an actual WR (in college he only ran fly routes on almost every play).

I agree or pick up somebody in the offseason, but an 8 week season in Europe can't hurt. I'd love to see him come back and make a believer out of me.

he needs to have a whole lot of passes thrownhis way. that is the only way anyone will know whether or not he can make the transition to nfl receiver

what a terrific point.. but even guys like thrash sometimes have problems whenthe wind moves the ball around.

remember when george allen had the punting machine re fitted so that the spiral would be left handed (footed?) when we were about to face a lefty punter? man that guy thought of everything
i just remembered, it was donnie anderson when he played with the cards after leaving green bay.. a long time ago.. showing my age LOL

I didn't even Jonathan Combs was still on the roster, by the way.
he was just resigned this week. hope he has learned to hold onto the ball this offseason. he really hurt himself last preseason

on kickoffs where there is usually one big wave of players i like a guy like betts because he runs north and south and can take a pounding.
on punts the coverage sometimes gets strung out a bit and sometimes you can get to the edge and cut upfield.
i still like the b mitch/mike nelms style of returning straight up the field. it takes tremendous courage to do that

betts does not return punts. thrash can do it, but he lacks speed and moves now

Re: Antonio Brown sent to NFL Europe

Is Antonio Brown still playing in the NFLE? I went to NFLE.com and I dont see him mentioned anywhere on there. I did check out the Admirlas website also and no mention of him even on the roster. I hope that he is still over there, he was the whole reason I was looking forward to watching a few games this year...

Re: Antonio Brown sent to NFL Europe

I think maybe the rosters haven't been updated on the site because I don't see any of the assigned Redskins players listed on any of their NFLE teams

playing for a spot on someone else's roster

Re: Antonio Brown sent to NFL Europe

Do you guys think he earns a roster spot this year? Or does Randle El take his spot permanently?? Wut about Jacobs and Thrash?? I think we should keep Thrash, he's a great special teams player. Thoughts.....

With Randle El here I really don't see where Antonio Brown fits in.

i agree. and with the addition of all these younger players, antonio might not see a skins uniform again.
