taylor jacobs is the "injury " of the redskins. for now on when a player gets hurt, they will say he is "taylor jacobed".

lavar was a good linebacker until he taylor jacobed his knee.

The Face Market wise of the team is Clinton Portis, but I like what people have been saying about Taylor too. On the feild he is clearly the leader by example. You could make a case for so many guys on the team though.

Gibbs is the face of the skins but player wise I believe it would be Portis, Washington or Jansen with the possibility that it would be Moss if he follows up last year with similar #s this season.

I believe Portis is the face of the Redskins. He was kinda moved into that last year. However, if Taylor develops a personality(after getting off those charges) and becomes more fan and media orriented, I see him becoming more of fan favorite because of his highlight hits.Cooley is going to be up there too. they are already chanting Coooooooooley after almost every catch.

What's the point in picking one of our high-paid stars as the "face" of the Redskins. That popularity will only demand them more money - and then we will lose them in a year or two and have to start over.

We should choose one of our blue-collar players like ... I dunnno... THE ADE.

Or, since THE ADE's new popularity might push him over the cap, too - here are some other possibilities:

Casey Bramlet - QB of the Future
Curry Burns - Well it does, doesn't it?
Jim Jones - Why won't you drink his kool-ade?
Jesse Lumsden - Graduated from McMaster College with a degree in McChicken
Ikuchuku Ndukwe - Can't spell team without "U"

Yeah, I agree. Either Marcus or Clinton. Portis just reminds me so much of Riggins with his antics. Where John cut a mohawk for himself, Clinton puts on a wig and glasses. On the other side, Marcus Washington is purely a class act. He'd make a great spokesman as well.
