we did trash their #1 AND #2 WRs for weeks the first time and their #1 all star RB the 2nd time though, so i guess better competition would have beat them up like the way we limped into that game too. |

But I know what your saying, if we lose a big time skin it might be tough to compete in the NFC East, but my point is a team is a team, and not just one player. You really can't blame injuries for bad season. I think the skins are deep enough to do well despite injuries. Hell, look at GW has done with our D-line...

Honestly, I think we're better than BOTH Carolina and Seattle.
The Seahawks lost some key players in the off-season and we beat them once last year and nearly again in the playoffs. The Panthers never had the talent besides Steve Smith. They're a one-trick pony. The only team that COULD possibly be ranked ahead of us in the NFC is the Giants, but I'd really have to debate that one also as we're really evenly-matched teams. (Portis/Barber, WRs, DEF depth/QBs may make the difference for both teams with Brunell having the advantage over Manning) |
