Re: Training Camp -- Day 1 rundown.

Here we go!! It all starts now fellas!! I expect the offense to crawl before they walk, just gotta be patient, from QB all the way to WR, we'll get it together. Plus we play great "D" which will take us a long way. Wonder how many games Taylor will be suspended for-any word on that?

Thanks for the good info. It is nice to have some critical thinking from people I can trust (not just the analysts).

Brunell is also a rhythm passer. I wouldn't worry about his performance until after they break camp. At that point if he is still missing WRs bad, we could be looking at another 2004 situation, and might have to turn to Campbell for some on the job tutoring.

Obviously he wasn't taking a cut but i am curious, which way do you all go coming from DC?
Next time, get off at Exit 9B (Route 28 towards Sterling), then 625 West (Waxpool Road), then right on Loudon County Parkway, and right on Redskins Park Drive. And it's not Snyder...at that point, the Dulles Tollroad becomes the Dulles Greenway.

Here's the map, with driving directions

Hey guys, the Defense is always better than the Offense at the beginning and then it will change. However, I think Our Defense is better than our Offense anyway, anytime, so maybe our Offense will always look bad playing our Defense and not against other teams Defenses. I mean seriously, we have a top 5 Defense IMO, but we probably Don't have a top 5 Offense YET.

Re: Training Camp -- Day 1 rundown.

If anyone is going to go to the camp Bring Water. From the time of 2pm-6pm I drank 13 bottles of water with a lingering thirst aftewards. Bring your coolers, ice, h2o, umbrellas, sunscreen- the heat is no joke. Just when you think the worst is over, I arrived at 3pm to the parking lot was probably among the first 500 people ( I think the total population was 2,500) I parked in the opposite direction that faced the entrance to the lot which is also the only way out. (Horribly direction for a parking lot. There are staff members coordinating us to park in line but afterwardsyour out of fuckin luck, totally chaos and disorder. From the time I started my car up to advance out of my spot and head to the main road it took 1 hour.) I felt I was nearly going to pass out and throwup during this time. My face was bright red, not from being sunburned but from being beaten down from the heat. Totally soaking drenched in sweat, w/o any water at my disposal. In the parking lot it is chaos. I saw dozens of cars leaving dozens of cars behind me going behind everyone else and forcing their way to the front. Getting cut of and ambushed by cars that were behind me for 1/2 hour all of a sudden raise their hand up to wave in acceptance to their ploy to advance just screwing me over. I love my Redskins but the harsh result I have found is that I hate to share them with the public. I think that is why so many people got sucked into the Ravens everything from the Training Camp- season long exposure is so tremoundously less crowed and hectic that I can't go to any more Redskin events like that. Nothing but assholes in that parking lot.

Re: Training Camp -- Day 1 rundown.

i didn't have your problems leaving... the tricks are: don't EVER go the first day, and skip fan appreciation day. Also - morning and evening practices. I won't go to a 4pm session cause it ALWAYS ends up being that bad.

I generally walk fast and get to my car quick after practice though (autographs are meaningless to me, so i don't bother with any of that).

Thanks. That is the way i went today and i did disregard the sign that said. Redskins camp exit 7. 9B is much cheaper and it has a 50 cent toll instead of a 3.20 toll.

Re: Training Camp -- Day 1 rundown.

i didn't because of the freaking line going the other way. We were going to turn left at that light and we saw that a car that was there hadn't moved for like 5 minutes so we decided to go straight and split the 3.20 over waiting. The trafic was really rediculous the past two days. IT was quicker yesterday though.
